Nice. Thanks. Haven’t upgraded mine at all yet but that is one thing I will do. (I have the white one), and the green Defender with light kit installed. Have a good day! ☀️

This upgrade really does seem worth it. Kind of a win-win as you are also putting some extra weight down low.

    Helpful and appreciate the information.
I’m more of a Defender guy but that black Bronco looks great. I’m thinking I might need to get one of those add some 🚔 lights and ghost type decals for a TN Trooper.
Great info. Have a great day.

I just ordered these steel links last night. I also ordered heavier suspension springs from Traxxas to try to reduce lateral body roll which causes the truck to flop to the side and flip on uneven terrain. At only $3 a pair, it’s worth trying a set of 4.

      Good luck!
I'll be curious how the heavier springs do.

I’m still waiting for my Traxxas links and parts on back order. While waiting, I see that Injora listed stainless steel “high clearance” links on their website today. Do you think that there is much benefit to that? They look like they may expose the driveshaft to hitting things too, so that is a consideration. The straight Traxxas ones look like they protect the driveshaft from hitting things.

@Sean Woods I would typically default to a high-clearance link set. On 1/10, I have never broken a driveshaft due to it hitting a rock.

@@RoadsideRC Thank you! I see that the Injora set comes with little spacers to increase the length of the upper links to tilt the axle a bit to raise the driveshaft too which can help.

Would you recommend the steel or aluminium link set?

Have the high clearance and the straight ones a big difference in performance ? Ordered the straight ones in brass cause they seem to be thicker and more sturdy

I don't believe there is a lot of difference.

Do you have to reset your steering end points? I don't have a tqi remote and I just purchased injora links.

Of all the upgrades they all ready have available for this, these links maybe among one of the best ones to do with the TRX-4m maybe transmission swap and or weights would be the other choices I would do.
    Great tips Troy!👍🏻🫠

These links really are a win-win. More weight down low and less flex!
I see many people wanting the slower trans gears - but I just don't understand that. This truck already crawls as slow as you would want, and there are times where wheelspeed is really needed to get over obstacles.

Yes - it helps reduce unwanted flex in the arms.
