Forgot to mention why I quoted “modern death metal” because I saw someone complain that people say that about bands. wtf else do you want to call it?
@MelanieLovesDeathMetal, thanks for this video. I some how missed this band over the years (way too many bands anymore and not enough time in the day) but i checked them out after this video and have listened to them for the last 2 months & even ordered most of their CDs now!!!
Such a sick band. It's crazy how all the members can still turn out top-notch music in everyone of their 300000000 projects!!??
I have their previous albums and need to pick up their latest release. I streamed Inward once and really liked it. Like you I need to spin an album several times to form my full opinion. Great review of the album! First album I purchased from them was Patricidal lust which is my favorite of theirs today. Still upset I was not able to see them live with Fetid. Their concert was cancelled 4 days before the concert date due to Covid. Hope to see Vastum next year.
Orificial Purge is the only album of theirs I’ve heard yet but really liked it. I’ll definitely be checking this one out as soon as it drops. Thanks for the killer vid as always! 🤘🤘

What’s your favorite Vastum album? Mine is Hole Below. Got to see them before and got jumped on a couple times by Dan. Fun band to see live. Shelby’s other project Human Corpse Abuse is great too.

20 Buck Spin is a gem
I was concerned because Angry Metal Guy gave it a 2.5 out of 5. I'll give it a proper listen when it's released.
Those guys hate everything
Dude I’m with you in being sick of people hating on 20 Buck spin just cuz. They are an excellent label that puts a lot of love into their releases. A lot of people are just jealous (if they are in bands) or are contrarian just for the hell of it.
Of course you can decide not to like their releases, I just think the overall sentiment with some folks is to not dig them because they are successful.
