I saw the pogues in 1990 believe me Shane sounded a lot worse then, i along with quite a few fans left nearly in tears.....but then we had a second chance in Cardiff 2005 and they were awsome. DKM, The Pogues, The Dubliners, etc... Always have and always will love em.
I think the worst ive heard him was in Good Rats lol he was fucking wasted, then again Im only 26 and didn't get lucky enough to see the pogues like you, especially being in the midwest. You're definitely very lucky to have seen em wasted or not!
