This makes me cry. She had a very distinct voice. A real Jukebox queen.
This just about brought tears to my eyes. Richard wrote this song before Karen died, and he let her hear the initial melody, which she love and wanted to record. But she died before getting the chance. I TRULY and honestly believe if she would have had the chance to record it, it would have been THE greatest Carpenters hit to date.
Got here because of her passing RIP to the icon.
RIP Ms. Claire Dela Fuente still one of the best music icon the country has ever produced.

Im glad that Richard had the chance to record this song with Claire. Karen will always stay in our hearts along with her songs and Claire singing with Richard made me feel that her legacy still continues. My father is a great Karen Carpenter fan.. and He told me.. when claire dela Fuente sing the Jingle of HOPE cigarrete commercial in the 70's People taught it was Karen's voice.
