I have never filled a grease gun that way. All our bulk grease use a pump then you just pump your gun full takes less than a minute. Maybe you should get a pump for your bucket

@@JBFromOZ Try your local John Deere dealer it is a Ty24585 in the US. I can only imagine they have a version available in Australia as well.
