There's also a scene where you find Rab meditating at the top of Mt. Pang Lai and Hendrick practically drools over that first issue of Oglers Digest before going back to acting like he never saw it.
Hendrik had the best character development in this game. I love how the game starts by making you antagonize him first, then it proceeds to redeem him into an amazing character. This is why I love the DQ series.
Despite he's among the strongest knight, he weak with ladies. Jinxed Jade almost had him, if it weren't for the party there, probably Henrik would choose to be Jade's pet.
This scene is made all the better by the fact that the game has been dropping hints about Sylvando from the beginning, including his equestrian and swordfighting skills, knowledge of the Knight's Oath, his unusual tanking ability, and his rather noble (if flamboyant) demeanor and bearing. Sylvando's character development is probably the deepest and most well thought-out in a game filled with well thought-out characters.
Damnit Hendrik, why you have to be so damn funny? Also one of my favorite scenes in this amazing game. Sylvando will always be my favorite character, second being Hendrik.

I only wanna say that the real name of Silvia is Goliath (look at the Japanese version) Not Norberto. And Goliath is a wonderful and powerful name, damn. Such a shame. He is thr greatest character of the game. ✨
Really mate? This game has so many QOL improvements and hours of extra content, an entirely different game mode, unlockable costumes... Personally I think Sylv is hilarious, but even if you don't like the character there's so much to appreciate here.
Western dubs suck so much. If you want to play a JRPG set it to japanese audio with subtitles! Immerse yourself properly into the fantasy world! That goes for FFs Dragon Quests Yakuza etc! All better for it and same with Anime! If i had a dollar for every confused Naruto Western dub fan
The English VA and writing is amazing in this game though. First time I've ever been able to say that about these types of games. I normally also go for Japanese VA because the English VA and writing sucks, but not this time
This isn't even a dub. The original western release of DQ11 only had voice acting in english, while the original japanese release had no voice acting at all. Japanese voiceovers were added in the definitive edition.
