Comic Book Ultron is Cold And Calculating but not Emotionless, and he is much more complex than this terrible adaptation of the character, not just that but he is actually so related to the Avengers than this one as he sees Janet and Pym as his parents, Vision as his son and Scarlet Witch as his Daughter in Law. Just Read the Comic Book "Rage Of Ultron" and come back and tell me that he is not more Complex than this Terrible adaptation.
There is a reason why the Comic Book "Ultron Unlimited" is considered to be one of the best Marvel Comic Book Stories Of All Time while the Movie "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" is considered to be one of the worst MCU Movies.

Basically all humans did not want to repent and continued doing evil things only Noah did good and God basically murdered everyone via floods to make a better world. So in the video he says it will be a better world after all humans are dead. They'll get their chance to improve (just like the sinners in the Bible) or they'll all end up dead like in the story of Noah and his ark.
It basically almost like the movie is implying Ultron ia like God and Noah witnessed the death of all humans for the greater good just like Ultron mentioned.

@@omegatc1060 He wasn't sarcastic. They did actually feel guilty. Ultron is ultimately a nerfed version of Thanos. They both care for humans and want them to survive, and come out stronger with their own twisted methods of coercing this. This develops Ultron's conscience towards humanity, and establishes an empathetic link. So Ultron is actually feeling seriously guilty because they want humanity to evolve, and survive. The guilt is built out of pity for humanity.
@@kakiytjarone8415 Thanos doesn't care about humans, he cares about his pet theory being correct and views the population versus resources thing as a maths problem to be solved. He's a psychopath convinced that he knows what the greater good is with enough power to enforce his viewpoint whether people agree with it or not.
If you think about it Thanos's plan doesn't actually work in the long run because you could quite quickly (for humans at least) go from 50% of the original population back to 100% in a couple generations, or in enough that it won't last at around 50 for very long anyway.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing or a plot flaw because it kind of backs up that Thanos is a) fucking insane and b) so thoroughly convinced that his plan is flawless that he hasn't considered the long term implications in full. He just got a bright idea one day, is too full of himself to admit it might be flawed (presumably he only views objections to it as moral outrage and not criticism of the logistics, and most people would probably jump to criticise the moral aspect first if he had just brought the subject up since they're reacting to him in real time and not analysing a character / plot from outside) and pretty much nobody has the power to stop him enforcing it.

@@DavidLinn Pragmatism can blind you to your own fallibility. No one person has all the answers, and thinking otherwise is dangerous because it invites totalitarianism, fascism, and authoritarianism.
Tony Stark in the movies is ruled primarily by his sense of morality, which is why he is considered a hero and why he ultimately does what he does in the climax of Avengers: Endgame.
His pragmatism is a flaw, perhaps his greatest flaw next to his ego, as it drives his decision to create Ultron, as well as causing the rift between him and Captain America that ultimately tears the Avengers apart.

Stark's running theme was how he creates his own enemies. Stane, Riva, Hammer, Vanko, Killian, Hansen, Toomes, Beck, at one point the Avengers and Ultron, a being that has part of Tony's personality in him. If anyone knows how much of a mess he is it's Stark himself. So knowing this, despite his best efforts to do the right thing he constantly gets it wrong and because of an uncanny indefatigably due in part because of a mother of a guilty conscience he can't stop, he can't sleep and no matter what he creates enemies because his greatest enemy is always himself and his fear of the future.

the problem wasn't the villain itself, its just the amount of jokes used in the movie that kinda "turned off" the vibe of the movie. Ultron also joked alot which made him less menacing, his jokes should have been a little more darker, ya know? Its sorta missing that UNF, that dark chill
some of the jokes and quips were actually decent but there was too many and it fucked with the pacing of the movie

I still find him the most intimidating villain in the MCU. He wasn't a lifeless machine. He was a person. A very twisted person.

Ultron technically won in death, he destroyed the infallible trust in the avengers, he sparked the civil war, had them so fragmented that thanos was able to easily assemble the stones.
