2 extra tips you didn't mention:
1. When you're about to detonate your drone (especially when going for a kill) instead of just driving to where you want to detonate, jump towards your target and detonate mid-air. This means that there's less time to react and shoot it or get out of the way.
2. When in detonation mode, RCEs aren't just immune to bullets - they're impervious to Aruni gates too. This means that you can jump towards one and detonate mid-air to take out both the laser gate and the bulletproof shield/barricade/Castle barricade/etc on the same door.

Flores is super underrated and unexpected. I've been playing Flores on my stack as the utility clear and soft breach. helping out buck with vertical, getting bandit boxes off the breach reinforcements, pushing defenders out into lines of sight held by teammates. flashes to burn ADS, or execute onto site. Flores is so versatile
Flores in ranked is godsend m8, in pl they always ban it due to how good it is

Also this is kind of hard, but if possible you can actually deny a bandit trick with him if you’re able to get a drone close enough, so when thermite detonates, the ratero drone kills a bandit if he stays
I do it with operators trying to stop the defuser, I run outside, and 2hen they start defusing bring it in.

At 11:30 about Auto Pilot, a thing I like to do is to reduce the Ratero’s countdown by just letting it drive outside, then when it reaches a desired detonation time, auto pilot it towards the enemy so it detonates on them and you can shoot them as they escape.
On the example you made with Smoke, waste around 5 seconds of the Ratero time outside bunker, then Auto Pilot it towards the door and it should start the countdown on Smoke, allowing you to kill him with either the gun or Ratero
You know, you are making content on the same level as those 200k+ channels. Just keep going and you will succeed!

Just adding onto the vertical climbs you put in the video, if there isn’t any furniture to climb on to reach the ceiling, you can put melee holes into soft walls (or even furniture like wardrobes if they’re too high to jump on top of) and the Ratero can jump and climb the melee holes.

Another tip: you can climb punch holes on the wall to detonate the ceiling. Punch hole a soft wall while crouching, then stand up and punch hole again. Then deploy the drone and climb them to detonate the ceiling. There are vids of this on youtube for more detail

Another idea is a operator buying guide, categories may be weapons, ability, ban/pick rates, cost (including reductions) etc. Varsitygaming has a outdated one

@@alyttleton Yeah,kinda like that. A point system that indicates the usefullness of a operator based on certain criteria, like ban/pick rates etc.

Just started playing the game again after a two-year break. I used to main Thatcher on attack because of how useful he was for getting rid of utility. Now with Thatcher banned every game I started playing Flores. So far, I've really been enjoying Flores as he can clear tons of defender utility, allow soft walls/hatches/floors to be opened up, and can cause chaos within bomb sites. All of this can also come from a relatively safe location.
One thing I enjoy doing is once we plant, if I have any more RCE drones to spare, I will drive them into site and detonate them on top of defuser or within enemy range.
Flores is a super fun operator that luckily (for me) people haven't really caught on to just how good he is yet so he's usually on the board to pick.

I have a video idea, about time management, I see alot of players holding one angle when defuser is on the other side of the map, and there not even baiting, or crouch walking when there's no time left, so a guide on that would help alot of new/amateur players

Just started using Flores and it finally uped my game his ability to literally blow up everything when they spam trap or whatever BS they try his dmrs solid and it can break soft hatches and the flash grenades or his mines love him so much no homo

U can use these to kill unsuspecting ops too especially when their in a gun fight with one of ur teammates distracted I’ve gotten kills like this plenty of times

Been playing Flores quite a bit and he is my favourite defender (now that Frost is pretty much in the mud). I don’t think he is S tier though (he lacks great utility not to mention Mute and Mozzie counter him hard).
Something no-one has mentioned is that, depending on the bomb site, his retero drones can literally stop the defending team from counter fusing the defuser. I keep one spare for this reason.
Didn't know I could hop off my drone and let it drive on its own. That is gonna open up a lot of options for me.
He been my new main he causes pure chaos like he says when he deploys the RC
