Guys, if this happens to you like when you are installing something from your file manager and it shows to choose a thing to download so if you click package installer it will start installing the app so if you don't want those option simply click on don't ask again and then click on package installer and install something or you can also cancel then whenever you will try to install something it will not show the options, hope this helps you

here is a test for you.. i am trying to install Mi Mover on my old redmi.. it used to have it, idk what ive done to remove it.. but when i go to google to reinstall it it wont.. says it cant.. when i download the apk from online Mi store, it says it cant install it because its on my phone.. i have looked EVERYWHERE and it is no where to be found on my phone.. in apps, in the files, data.. nothing.. xiaomi support has been useless telling me i have to wait for a new update.. but god knows when that wil be.. and asking the app developer wont happen cause their email doesnt exist anymore.. (typical Xiaomi)

Almost had cried out of anger bcs of it
But here is what I did
-open settings
-search storage and enter it
-then ull see a list of things like images,videos,audio filed...etc
-ull see apps under compressed files and next to apps there is an exclamation mark
-click exclamation mark
-it will give option cancel or settings click settings
-then search package installer
-if the round thingy is on the left swipe it to the right
And that should do the trick and u should be able to delete mc

If you did this and it still doesn't work, you either buy a new phone or factory reset the phone.
