- Zambia has been the most social country so far during my travelling in pandemic. This video is from Lusaka where I caught up with Elena and Robert - a couple of friends who recently met on the road in Africa and decided to overland together Africa.
In the second part of the video I'm showing you the insides of ProTech workshop where Chillie got some necessary TLC and finally had her leaking forks fixed.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. That oil was certainly ready to be replaced. As soon as you pulled into the bike shop you just knew you had lucked out. It is such a stress reliever when your bike needs servicing in the middle of nowhere and you find a good shop. All the best from Canada 🇨🇦. I was riding with leaking fork for a long time so it was such a relief to finally have it fix in a proper workshop. I can't wait to get to Canada. Once I'm finish my African travels, I'll move to North America. 😁.

Love all your videos. Amazing you are welcomed into a shop and allowed to participate in the repair of your bike. I do most of my bike maintenance and I really enjoyed this segment as I recently changed the fork seals on two of my bikes.

The big Kato 990 are a good machine but lack the reliability of the BMW and are a bit expensive the service. Thanks again for another great video, we are really enjoying Africa in this household.

Hello Kinga, I would pay to see the "crazy times" with Elena and Robert! Pro Tech workshop looks like the place to "visit" for work on your bike or I guess most ADV bikes. Im watching three Spaniards two in South America and Mex another in Africa riding their bikes. And one Dutch girl and on her bike. All of them a lots of funs and a lots of balls including the females. Cause riding alone in Africa and Latin America aren't enchiladas. Bikes are good alcohol bad. Take it easy gals
