I tried to recreate this scene in Star Trek Online. With a T6 Intrepid class, fired a gravity well from the main deflector, loosed a full spread of quantum phase torpedoes on the trapped Hirogen ships, watched one ship's warp core go boom which destroyed all the others. I admit, not nearly as exciting as watching this episode.

Highly unlikely, since The Hirogen were able to easily overpower and kill a creature from species 8472, who even the Borg were afraid of. These guys were colder than 8472, a highly aggressive and dominant race.
Tuvok was trying to threaten the Hirogen, but being a logical vulcan he could not amplify his speech to match the emotion he was trying to portray, the whole thing felt like a joke, even the farangis wont be bothered by it.

Seven and Tuvok are clearly in bondage harnesses...

hirogens really went from absolute badasses to puny punks
So like most things in Voyager, great idea poor execution.
i understand the "single-minded badasses" comment, but when did they become "puny punks"?
They were like the Klingons of the Delta quadrant, instead of wars they were all about the hunt.
These dudes where like 90's cartoon villains.
