As a Japanese, it was very grateful you guys talked about Ito, but his name is actually *“Hiroki”.
Ito plays really high up for Japan, I could have sworn he's the LW more often than not. He's good but sometimes he can be a bit "stiff", he's not as silky as Mitoma for example. He's not the fastest also but he works hard. From this list I would say Calafiori is the one to get.
The thing is... none of these players r going to come to be a 4th choice cb and barely play. It's very unrealistic, there going to want game time. Imo keep ben davies as a lcb because he is happy to come in when he's needed and won't complain

Having happy but mediocre rotational players aren’t the way the trophy winning teams do it.
Why do we think that we can only play one certain lineup every time until the players are injured to the last bit? Just rotate them. That's how pep prevents injuries.
What I'm trying to say is that no semi-decent player wld want to come to just sit around and be the 4th cb. We have Davies who has a lot of experience and is happy to be 4th choice so just keep him.

Califiori and Murillo make the most sense. Califiori cover for both LCB and LB means we don’t have to go into the market as both with Davies 3rd choice LCB feels like the right choice
Almost all these guys are RCBs & too good for rotational players. Also, Kilman should reunite with Lopetegui at West Ham.
Murillo is an interesting one. But I would prefer Strahinja Pavlović from RB Salzburg.
We've been linked with Koki Machida from Union SG all season long and he's a good realistic option.......Left footed, 6"3 and in the 98% across Europe for progressive passes amongst CB's.
Stajinja Pavlovic at Real Salsburg is an interesting player. Was a stand out defender at the World Cup with Serbia. Big, strong, great in the air, cannon of a left foot.

Murillo is the one I would go for. Porro/Romero/VDV/Udogie/Walker-Peters/Murillo/Dragusin + a couple young players. KWP can play RB/LB. Murillo can play LCB/LB. Dragusin can play RCB/LCB.
We need a LB, RB, FW & MF x 2 for certain. Could Ashley Phillips step up to cover CB?

After AFCON and AFC Asian Cups, Son, Biss and Sarr were gassed, so there's clearly a penalty to pay for obtaining players from these regions and I think that needs to be taken into account.

I think we have more pressing needs at striker, winger, and midfielder. That's where the big money should be spent. If we do get one of these players, I want someone who is strong in the air.

@@harrisonbaker199 Davies is a mediocre player that’s been playing mediocre football for us for 10 years. That’s enough of mediocrity for me. With that said, if a club wants Son and he is happy to leave I wouldn’t be against a sale even this summer. That won’t happen just yet though, because he’s happy here, performs well and offer us a big piece of the Asian market. Son is very valuable for the club in several ways. Davies is not that.
