- Sharing my method of valve guide removal and replacement. This is shown with a Honda CB350K, but the same method is used on most aluminum Japanese or European cylinder heads.
The guides in this video are bronze racing type. The bronze guides waists down slightly when installed with the correct interference fit, and requires a second ream to finish size.
No hammering or heat is used. This method does not damage the guides or requires speed to match the guides heating and sticking in the head during installation.
Any guide installation will require that the valve seats get cut to match the new guides, this video demonstrates my method. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I've never seen a proper way how to install new valve guide like this. Thank you for your great video sir.
It's refreshing to have a video with no talking.
great job chap
fabulous.Beautiful work as always.
Great work and great video too. Thank you
Fantastic!!!
Heat head and freeze guides
This is the old way, and requires hammering the guide, usually damaging the guide and galling the guide bore.
what angle is the seat for 350? is there a specific angle the factory used? are they 3 angle seats?
Seat angle is standard 45 degree, leading and training angles are full radius Serdi cutters.
👍 good working.
Vacuum test? ?
No vacuum test. Best testing is using light through the ports.
il supporto della testato è barciollante !!🥵

The parts must be properly cleaned after blasting.
