The outriggers were on there for testing of the chassis only. They were testing the roll over limits, and didn’t want to damage the truck.

The concept of the steel-trailer is not that new. As a truck driver (Wim Vos Oss Netherlands, doesn't exist anymore) back in the late 1980's I drove containers with removable floor-parts and an included foldable tent to transport steel coils. When empty the containers could be folded and stacked up so 1 container could transport 10 steel-containers. They also drove with tank-containers which could stay at a temperature of 85 degrees Celsius by connecting the tank-circuit to the cooling-circuit of the truck. Therefore you didn't need an extra power unit to keep the product in the tank warm. They were very innovating back then.
