She needs to high key stfu
Tho I will also say Iâm sure her sense of importance and being a part of the wedding is highlighted and reinforced by the fact that thereâs a camera crew that everyone supports being there whose sole purpose is to follow the mom and her interactions with her son/daughter-in-law
Itâs like being surprised someone thinks their recommendations are important when everyone gives them a newspaper to print them in
Amen ! so awesome to see the the group against the mom. More ppl need to tell these mom type personalities to stfu
I read that as low key tofu, and thought, huh, interesting, is that some vegan lingo?
Thank god the sisters were there to defend her, she had no one with the tux. Some parents need to realize itâs not their wedding and they canât have everything their way.
The mom thinks sheâs marrying her son, not the bride
I think it's cause they're the one helping pay for everything but still
Better off just going down to the court house and signing a paper. Atleast then you save a few thousand to put down on a house with land.
@@Tagerrun no kidding! My aunt had the best version of a wedding, if I never got married it would have to be like hers: in the backyard with good simple food, no fancy wear- everyone dressing in casual, including broom and gride. Family members taking the pictures with the better ones doing the official pics.
Otherwise court is the best and most convenient. Why would anyone want to clean up after a wedding?
@@queenicedcoffee4217 They still do that? If I get married, I'm not having parents pay for anything, that makes no sense. Feels super weird to me.

I can't even imagine having someone that toxic in my life. Hopefully you had the day -you- wanted at least
That kind of thing blows my mind. Obviously, you want the people who are with you at that to tell you if something looks bad or doesn't flatter your shape, but who the hell thinks they have the right to dictate the style of someone else's wedding?!

**picks out pimp jacket for son's pseudo-Vegas wedding**
I literally broke off an engagement with a man when his mother and sister were incredibly rude to me and wouldn't allow me to decide anything about the wedding. Not the date, not the venue, not even my own dress. And he wouldn't even pretend to stand up for me. They were horrible women that never talked about anything other than gossip about people at their church.
He and I agreed we wanted to have it at the Renaissance Faire. Then they found out and told me I shouldn't have it there because they "looked into it" and food and drink would be $25 a person. Once I had doubts, they tried pressuring me into using the venue the sister had her wedding at that was $50 a plate and tried so hard to get me to takeout a loan for the wedding. Etc etc. Everything was a fight.
Breaking up with him and his harpy mother and sister was the best decision of my life. God bless their hearts.
Geez I'm so sorry to hear that, definitely can't blame you for doing so. People like that are usually the types to even insert themselves INSIDE your marriage too, and I've known too many couples end in divorce due to it... đ
@@froggieprincess675 Oh definitely, after the sister got married she didn't move out, her husband moved in with the entire family. My ex-fiance kept trying to bring up me moving in with the family and I kept brushing it off as a joke because that HAD to be a joke right?

She keeps saying âitâs a Vegas weddingâ as if 95% of the people who get married in Vegas arenât trashed out of their minds eloping at the chapel O love and then divorcing the next week.
That's probably her plan, a bad Vegas wedding to try for a fast divorce so that she can find someone more "suitable" (read easily manipulated) for her baby boy.

As much as it was entertaining to watch the mom get laughed at, that girl needs to call this whole thing off and leave that man. He never supports her when his mother interferes and will override her if his mom disagrees with her.
If they become parents that Momzilla is going take over her household, usurp her as the mother figure, and screw up the kids as badly as she did her own son.
Kids don't need that kind of pain. RUN GIRL! RUN!
Don't they already have a kid?
@@EmEm78 I don't know. If she already has a kid with him then she's screwed herself over, because now that Monster-In-Law is going to be a constant problem.
If I were in that situation, I'd have my husband sign a prenuptial to keep my money where it belongs and sneak in a clause where I had custody of the kid. That man would not be a parent to his child, and his mom would ruin that kid.
@@DaiNoShoujoNoYami I agree, good idea.

Her face just getting redder and redder as they tell her red is dead, priceless!
And she definitely has Rosacea, i have it too, but not as bad, it makes the skin go red and in the more severe cases even the eyes can get red. You can get medication to soothe it, but there's no cure.
A friend has it too. Linked to obesity so she's trying to lose weight. Looks really painful when it flares up.
I thought she may have had an allergic reaction to some makeup for the show or something. I was starting to be concerned cause it looks like it hurts.
I think itâs more like high blood pressure the madder she gets the redder she becomes when she talks to the camera itâs not as red
Thereâs the option of trying laser treatments which do work to minimize it. I would encourage you to do the bloodwork to look into Lupus. Rosacea and a butterfly rash can look the exact same. My mom thought she had rosacea for decades, and turns out it was a sign of lupus.
Its crazy how red she is they should definitely be acknowledging it and explaining why.
The sister/friends defending the bride was the best thing ever
It's beautiful how these grown men are genuinely excited over backscratchers.
I'm so glad her sisters were there to stand up for her. I understand that she wants her future mother in law to like her so having people that didn't care what the mom thought of them was a great idea.
Her inner struggles and emotions are on full display. You guys called it 100%! red face = mad, pink face = repressed tantrum. She's jealous of the bride because she, deep down, wishes she could marry her son. She sees in him, the perfect man she wished she had married. She (sub)consciously conditioned him to be her dream boat. Now that he is being "taken away," her ego flipped into survival/defense mode. The adult version of "dont steal my toy!" Makes for good TV lol
100% agree! some serious emotional incest going on!

I had a client whose mother was like this. The bride wanted classic black and white silver line prints. Which would have worked with her theme which was 1920 vintage. Think Great Gatsby. The mother didn't like this and much like this mom wanted a 1980s fever dream and wanted bright neo photos with lens flair, a lot of burning over exposed look.
It got to the point this woman pretend to be her daughter and tried to change the package she was going to get which was much more expensive including a lot of photos the bride didn't want and a lot of stuff I would have needed a second shooter for. I said I would send a confirmation email when I made the changes. Before doing that I sent an email to her groom as he was the one paying me and I said here are the changes to the contract. The bride just called me can you please sign it and have it to me by end of the day. I have never gotten a phone call so quick in my life. haha
"I cant believe my son would be on board with all these goofy ideas" meaning she cant believe her son is on board with giving his soon to be wife the wedding she wants instead of what his mum wants?
I barely had any opinions about my own wedding. I can't imagine trying to impose what I like onto someone else's special day. Psycho.
