My bee gees playlist czcams.com/play/PLa7uIZdsmEiNqtOEhh5QyEuyEE_l_GuGx.html
Hey man ✌️Here are the Bee Gees performing a medley of their hits, on the TV show “Midnight Special”.
Their vocal powers are at their absolute peak here. Enjoy 😎 czcams.com/video/5-LlYi0bjt8/video.html
Bee Gees were underrated by those that labeled them incorrectly based on a few songs. They were more than just a few songs
Yep you are correct. Many younger fans only listened to the the disco era songs and those post 80. They missed out on the earlier hits from the 60s and early 70s
Obviously in a COMA!
My Dad is turning 90 this year and this is his favorite song.
Re-watching this and I’m crying. My dad passed away on Thursday. As I mentioned, this was his favorite song and we were going to play it at his service. But, due to the Covid we’re having to delay his services.
Hello Suzanne I’m sorry to hear that as my dad passed away 2 months ago too. He loved this song too ❤️❤️
@@suzanneballou97 💔
Dude, I WAS AT THIS CONCERT!!! I was living in Vegas at the time and was there with my late wife (she passed away in 2010). What an amazing show!! I am SOOO glad you reacted to Words. Not only my favorite Bee Gees song, but also one of my favorite songs of all time!! Thanks for the good memories on this one.
I’m glad you have this memory with her
I admire you a lot, I'm from Mexico and I'm a super Bee Gees fan and it's incredible that you were there live, it was excellent on video and I can't imagine it being live
He is so wonderful!!! There is no such thing as a bad Bee Gee song!!! So much soul!!
Jayvee, I don't know if you heard The Bee Gees song "I've Got to Get a Message to You" yet, but if you do I WARN YOU. Get a box of tissues because that is one of the most beautiful tear-jerker songs I have ever heard.
Yes!!
Its awesome but dont know about wanting tissues
Every single song they sing is great. Might as well do all of them 😂😂
You stopped before it was finished! Their revised song "I've got to get a message to you" from this same concert is wonderful!
That's what I thought. Barry pauses, and then starts up again with, 'and words are all I have, to take your heart away'. End.
I didn’t the video ended there here is the link czcams.com/video/-hGyrNChk5c/video.html
I get the goose bumps every time
They are perfection
Barry was smiling because he knew the crowd was anticipating the last word of the song which you cut off. He finishes with away-hay-hay-hay-hay the way he did it on the record.
Words are very powerful, they can bring joy or pain. This song is brilliant and a excellent reaction ☮️ and love to all
I'm a life long Bee Gees fan. My earliest memory is "I Started A Joke " in my grandmother's kitchen when I was very young. I can't think of ONE song I don't love. They're part of the soundtrack of my life!
Beautifully described “ part of the song track of my life” we all have one for sure!
I went to see just Barry about 5 years ago. Hearing him sing this that night was truly amazing.
I like the Bee Gees' non-disco music. You should also react to their "Holiday" and "I Started a Joke." Oh, and "Massachusetts" (preferably their live version with the great harmony chords at the very end).
Woody'sThoughts , How can you mend a broken heart.
The New York Mining DIsaster of 1941
It's all good...I don't categorize anything.
I agree.
I forgot about "Holiday"!
I have been infatuated with Barry Gibb since I heard my sister’s LP back in the day. Lol. None before or ever will be like the Bee Gees. They shatter glass ceilings!
Bee Gees and Celine Dion saying immortality it's a great song
This is one of their best songs. I love this. Thanks.
Bee Gees! Worth listening to 24-7! They’re legends!
One of my favorites by the Bee Gees is "There will be Tears."
In the Bee Gee song " words" that wasn't the end of the song, Barry was smiling because he wanted the crowd to join in the last part, and they didn't, so he smiled and sang the last part! 🥰
Yes, such a great song! Please listen to "I started a Joke" Think you will love it! love watching your video's and your reactions!
New York mining disaster! Great harmonies
Wow this is so beautiful. Don't think I have heard this before. Thanks.
Beautiful song. I’ve seen The Bee Gees in concert a couple of times ... audience goes wild when Barry sings the last line ..... to take your heart a- wayyyyyy
Thanks for posting. Great way to end a hectic week.
I would love to see a reaction to one of their more recent vintage recordings: “alone” or for “whom the bell tolls”.
Like fine wine .... the Brothers aged extremely well
The Bee Gees was my first concert in 1979. I was twelve-years-old and had theirs and Andy's posters all over my room.
You should also watch a video of them when the song originated. It better puts their awesomeness in context when you see how young they were when the song actually came out. Also consider listening to Robin sing "I started A Joke". You won't regret it!
The video wasnt over!
New York Mining Disaster 1941, Run to Me two more great early Bee Gees!
Run To Me is SO beautiful ❤
He always sings this song for his wife Linda.
From this concert:Islands In The Stream,How Can You Mend A Broken Heart,Alone,Inmortality(With Celine Dion),To Love Somebody...All greats songs👍
Alone is amazing, and he must watch it
@@SalutExpla absolutely
Man, I can’t believe the goosebumps I got watching.... I’ve seen it many times before, but it’s like the first time when watching you experience it . You cut it a little short at the end , he wasn’t quite finished yet , lol . This song was written for and dedicated to Barry’s wife, Linda .
Hi, you should watch this whole concert, I've watched it many times.
i miss all of the Bee Gees this is absolutely & stunningly beautiful such that it literally brings tears to your eyes!
Early Bee Gees were great. Try New York Mining Disaster 1941.
U should check out Andy, a younger Gibb brother who’s life was cut short about 30 yrs of age..He performed many times with his brothers and went out on his own..
Sing that shit Barry! I feel like he's in love with me and I'm overjoyed! 😆
Barry wrote the theme to the movie Grease that was sung by Frankie Valli. I think this is the concert where they performed it. They did an amazing job!
These guys are legends. They can sing a menu and turn it into a hit.
so freaking good. a treasure they are.
I said once before that the recorded and the live versions are as great as each other with the BeeGees. I'm so happy that you loved this, one of my favourite songs from this amazing band. My husband watched with me and enjoyed your reactions too, he understands why I love watching your videos, its nearly midnight so goodnight everyone, God bless you all, I wish you all Peace Mary-Ellen UK
I lived through their whole career, but only recently became a huge fan. I can’t believe I never appreciated their music until now. And now, they’ll never be on stage together, again 😢 Beautiful song! 👏👍💕😊
Same!
Same with me. I saw a PBS special that made me appreciate them a whole lot more. There was so much good music back then, it was hard to keep up.
I did lived through their whole career, just like you and only recently a joined a bee gee group and I regretted the time I wasted not listening to them. And now even young people are awed with their talents too.
This song made me cry when I was about 5 and I've been a fan ever since.
I know right? Amen now you love them
Bee Gees Nights on Broadway
You do have to hear Robin sing "I started a joke", that was his big song.
...ohhhhhh, it "started to play again" maybe because you missed the finish of that live version that is just their sweet voices in harmony finishing the last phrase. : )
I promise I am not a stalker lol but you really should hear Edge of the Universe by Bee Gees it's on point
Bee Gees You Should Be Dancing/Alone-The same concert...
It's worth it....
Watch their Live performances especially the ones in the 90's
Great song to react to....gotta give a listen to Robin sing the lead in 'I Started a Joke.'
I am So happy that you are loving the Bee Gees. The brothers were so talented and because they performed together their whole lives, from the time they emigrated to Australia until Robin passed away, they harmonised perfectly.
We can regain our love for these songs through your sensitive and thoughtful reactions.
Man, you play GREAT music, thanks for the look back.
Bee Gees - Alone ( Live in Las Vegas 1997 One night only )
BEE GEES ONE OF THE BEST WRITING GROUPS EVER.
Immortality with celine Dion is a beautiful song too!
Barry wrote this with her in mind. The first time the beegees and Celine sang it together, Barry cried!
All their voices were unique. Maurice had some songs where he was lead, even though they focused more on Barry and Robin. Man in the Middle is a good example!
you can find out the greatness of the bee gees also in making no .1 hits for other artist like ( woman in love / guilty , for Barbra Streisand ) and ( chain reaction , for Diana ross ) and immortality , for Celine Dion ) and ( islands in the stream , for Kinney rogers and dolly patron ) and ( heart breaker , foe Donnie Warwick ) and so many more
Hello Jayvee, I love your reactions, especially with you reacting to the Music of The Bee Gees, they are seriously gifted each and everyone!! I've seen all of your reactions to every song they've sang...WOW, WOW, WOW!!! 😮😮😮 I'm surprised that you haven't reacted to their famous Hit, Nights on Broadway. Listen to their live version, you know we very rarely here Maurice do any solo singing, but he really tears this song up, he's got an even higher voice than Barry & Robin in this song, I was really, really impressed!! Hope you find time to react to this amazing Song ❤️💕❤️ Thank you my friend...
I love watching you listening to the Bee Gees. To love Somebody you recently did was 1967, and here they are 30 years later performing magnificently.
Alone, I Surrender, One, are later songs but powerful, too.
Would ❤️ for you to react to U2 Pride (In the Name of Love) (Live) one of the greatest Rock bands in the 80’s! They’ve got an unmistakable sound and the message in this ballad is one we always need❣️
That wasn't the end.
Yeah, that was just a dramatic pause. The audience knows the song, so they know it's not the end. Oh, well.
Barry's voice isn't quite as sharp on this song in '97 as it was in '67, but still very good. The nostalgia is fun for the crowd. There are vids up on YT every now and then of this entire One Night Only concert. Happy hunting.
I just found this video elsewhere and whoever posted it cut the song off too soon.
Another beautiful song!!!xoxoIm happy U like it!
Love the Bee Gees and I really like your reactions. Unfortunately you didn't let the song exactly finish - it is probably the best part of a fantastic live rendition.
Great song...thanks for playing.
Gorgeous song. Beautiful meaning. Words can love or cut, be careful❤️
I first heard this in 1968 age 6. Fantastic song. Still love it.
I wonder why no one has yet to react to the Bee Gees biggest (pre-disco) hit, "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart"
You should try to find the song that Maurice Gibb did with his children, it’s called The Bridge. There is no video for it but it’s so beautiful. The Gibb brothers were all spectacular singers
Omg you did it!! 🤗 Thank you Jayvon. Told ya the lyrics and the harmonies are to die for. Eternal goosebumps and chills for this beauty. Beautiful music in an ugly world. ❤
All the guys were super talented. And each one had unique voice. But you take those incredibly unique voices and do a Harmony and they just fit they just complement each other. These were incredibly talented men. This is Barry's signature song, just like I started the joke is Robin's signature song. Barry was an incredible vocalist from falsetto to the high side of Base.
I got to see them live in the mid 70s. When Barry sang this, the female underwear & hotel keys flew onto the stage! He was soooooo dreamy! Sigh....... 🥰🤩😍🤩🥰
If you really want to see Barry take complete ownership of a stage and building for that matter, you should watch this song from the Spirits Tour in 79! It.s sooooo darn good!
The Bee Gees wrote this, Elvis recorded it and had a big hit with it early 70's. Yes, Elvis recorded a Bee Gees song.
and that was a great rendition too by Elvis!
I love to see yours reactions to songs that are a better part of our younger days...and you can understand each and every word that they sing
My all-time favorite Bee Gees song. It’s only words and words are all I have to take your heart away. Brilliant .
God blessed those boys with beautiful voices
thank u very much for choosing bee gees songs m by the way this song was covered by the legandary Elvis Presly , you can play wish you were here , the only love , Angela , tears , for whom the bell tolls , will you still love me tomorrow , and an endless list of everlasting love songs of the bee gees , the best band in music history
This one, and I Started a Joke are my favorites, both so heart-felt and deep. RIP. And rip- rip it up, up there, guys!
I was privileged enough to see them in concert when I was only 14 years old. It was the most memorable concert I ever went to. I'm 57 year's old now and have even more appreciation for their talent.
My favorite bee gees song.
I've heard this song all my life, thank you
I love The Bee Gees growing up I lived in the country and I can remember laying on the hood of a car just starring up listening to them looking at the stars and wow was so beautiful and peaceful no better way to listen to great music
Be sure to check out the live performance with Celine Dion of "IMMORTALITY"... Breathtaking....
We request more. Your reactions are great and you MUST listen to more of their stuff.
I love that song. RIHeaven Maurice & Robin. You are so missed.
Just beautiful. I also truly love the Elvis version.
They did a tribute to Andy during that concert. A sing called"don't throw it all away, our love" if you can find that. It's absolutely beautiful!!!!!
It does my heart good to see a young person appreciate the music from my youth!👍💙
From the same show "Our Love Don't trow it all away" with their late brother Andy singing from the screen. Touching moment
The Bee Gee started writing and singing their own music as children. They wrote some of the biggest hits of the 20 century include other artists best know songs.
im 15 and my dad would always play these songs, very beautiful music
I was there. Well, not in Vegas, when they brought that tour to London. 22 years later and it’s still the best gig I’ve ever seen. I am SO thankful that I got to see them.
The Bee Gees iconic legends 💕🌟👏👏👏💕
The Bee Gees was my first concert at 10 yrs old,1979 St Louis!
I saw Barry Gibb live in 2014 (give or take a year) and when he sang this song I had to wipe my eyes dry. So many years of hearing it, playing it......then to hear him do it live meant so much.
They were....magic, the way they harmonized and complemented each other. They started as mere kids, and if you google it you will see them back in Australia when they were teenagers. Didn’t look like much then. But they grew up and “wow’d” the world.
Wonderful to watch you discover them!! Brings me back to when those songs were NEW!! Thank you!!!! !WWG1WGA
Try out nights on Broadway studio or live, holiday live, and the sun will shine live or i started a joke live
I miss Robin so much...He was the favorite of the three for me and my sister. Loved his voice.
When my son was 5 years old this was his favorite song. Pretty good song to have a 5 yr old love it. This was the last concert that Maurice would do. Died a few months later 🙁😞
This was one of the first song that I heard by The Bee Gees And they had so many great ones from the ‘60’s into the ‘90’s
Early bee gees in the 60s were something else.. Great songwriters and great talent
Thank you for posting. Love your channel. 👍
