This was taken from a television broadcast on an A&E special all request the bee gees the bee gees would be asked questions from the audience and the host would find out why that song was written and if the audience wanted to hear our bee gees played it .it was an awesome tv show got great tv ratings for that tv network. The Bee Gees were very good song writers to go from Words, I Start the Joke , To Love Someone and out of the blue come up with Staying Alive ... TALENTED
Back then they had to have songs that were under 3 min until the Beatles Hey Jude.
You always manage to surprise me with your eclectic taste in music young lady! Barry Gibb was and is one of the most prolific song writers. If your interested you should check out a performance from around 2014 , its Barry Gibb and his niece singing " How can you mend a broken heart" . Barry is now in his early 70's but still COOL after all these years! Once again stay AMAZING - LOVE YOU!

They weren't disco, just because they did some disco doesn't make them disco anymore than Elvis singing Kentucky Rain made him country. Bee Gees were R&B but they followed the trends

Empress, it's obvious from the lovely looking locks adorning and spiraling down from your pretty crown keeper, that you really want to hear the song "Sister Golden Hair" by the band America. Like The Bee Gees, they were very big, musically, in the 1970s.

Yes, I have seen them do a longer version when they were younger. This performance is late in their career and Barry just pauses where they expect him to do the final repetition. I'm thinking he's too old to do it anymore, so he just teases the audience.
