FINALLY a video tutorial that makes sense. thanks man! you're a life saver. bought a brand new calc for my business classes and overestimated my ability to understand how to use it. seriously dude, thanks
THANK YOU, this video helped so much. My professor doesn't go over how to use a financial calculator at all, and this helped me so much. You're amazing, keep it up, free knowledge is so undervalued. You're a god sent.
I'm trying to restore my 10BII HP calculator to default setting with DECIMAL POINT but, somehow, it is now using "comma" and online tutorials say to shut off calculator, then press/hold decimal point and turn calculator back on... However, this does not work... Any advice?
Thank you so much! Quick question, how do I go about clearing the memory now. Whenever I hit the gold key then C button, it always shows the 1 payment per year instead of the usual 0.000 that shows Ive cleared the memory
1:20. Can you please explain what you do, to leave it at 1 compounding period per year and adjust accordingly? What do you actually adjust (do you use the effective interest rate? and then incorporate that into the calculation or?)? Say, for example you have quarterly payments, instead of changing it to 4 periods per year, if you work with a P/YR set at 1, how do you work with that on your calculator to arrive at the answer?
you need to adjust your N and I/YR. so if you leave at 1 period per year. but want to know quarterly. you multiply years times 4, the reslut is your new N. for I/YR you would divide the annual rate by 4 and this would be your new I/YR. if monthly compounding, then sub the 4 for 12 in both spots above. hopefully this helps!
I was getting that too. Its because his Payments are set at 1 instead of 12 like he adjusted at the begining. Take $18.75x12 and it will give you the 225. Adjust the payments to 1 like him and it will show up the $5225.

Thank you so much for this video! It has made me change the negative thoughts I had about my calculator. So appreciated!
my problem was changing my payments to year function to 2 per year. Found my way back to this video, and now all my answers are correct again, haha.
FYI >> Present value(PV) is always negative when you enter it in the calculator. That's why the values are coming out negative instead of positive
OMG, you save my life! Thanks for such perfect and useful video!

how can I download this for pc?
nice
WTF im getting 5.056.25
+Pizza Remember he changed the number of payments from 12 to 1? When you type in the N instead of typing 1 you need to type 12. I hope this helps!
thanks :)
Disappointed this god's volume is so low.
