    you don't need all of that trim, drawers act as trim, they are all connected anyway. The trim is only used to connect inventories/drawers to slaves or other drawers further away, it's basically a wire.

      yeah he can remove all the trim except that which is connecting one drawer to one of the controller slaves.

      Yep I realizedf that after I posted haha thanks

    You should make a polarizer to make the magnetic rods so that you can save your redstone.

    Yeah, you’re gonna want a fluid solidifier ASAP just so you never have to construct rotors again.

    You started with very good practices using the forestry crafters and saving all the recipes. However, in this episode, you didn't lock any of the recipes for the LV pump etc. This makes it a lot more annoying to craft these components. You can also use the materials from the adjacent inventories to craft items with, without having to move these items to the inventory of the crafter itself. Keep up the good work though, I would love to see the steam grinder in a couple of episodes :)

    Drawer walls are amazing. Well would have been nice if i knew that, but well now i know. Good way to stay organized too and more storage never hurts. You always need storage.
    GT covers are quite powerful and are the backbone for many good compacting solution, where conduit just seems a bit too messy. And they have more functionality in some instances too. Used for crafting (kinda obvious) also their overworld use is amazing. Well Ender IO conduit is kinda a one stop solution to nearly everything, but they shine here and there.
    Something you could make is the polarizer. It need 0 circuit, so basically steel is the only cost and it let you magnetize iron rod with ease. Worth making tbh
    An extractor combined with a fluid solidifer is a powerful combo for a lot of component. Well unfortunately some material require MV extractor to turn them into fluid, but you can still invested into stuff like rotor mold which help you make rotor cheaper. And gears, and a lot of other shape. Granted the extruder is generally better, but LV extruder is near useless.
    Reminder: Lathe turn 1 bolt into screw, iirc. Always check JEI! You never know if you can use more efficient recipe, especially if you are new.
    If you already feel a bit pain crafting 1 pump, remember you will need more than 1 pump. Tbh i think pumps are just a pain to craft in general, but yeah it is quite possibly the most prominent example for batch craft. You dont want to go through that pain every single day do you :)
    Other commentor already point this out but you can use auto output. Remember to right click, not shift right click. And crowbar for cover removal.
    Somewhat of a misc note but you could invest on an Ender IO filter for the vacuum chest. Idr how expensive it is, but the number of times i drop and item and it get sucked to the chest, then wondering where did it go is far too many. If you remember it should be fine so consider this an incredibly random tip.

    You actually don't need that much trim, as long as the drawers are connected to each other and atleast one drawer is connected to the controller then all the other drawers are accessible, trim is just used as a drawer that doesn't store any items, its only there to connect a drawer that is a few blocks away from the controller/other drawers. For making screws, you can actually use the bolts in the lathe and it's 1 bolt -> 1 screw, its twice as efficient. Removing covers is done with the crowbar, and you actually don't need the pump, its actually just right click the side to set it to output. Now that you've unlocked conduits, the real automation will now begin, prepare by making a few stacks of conduits (yes, stacks) Good luck! you'll need it.

    I remember getting all turned around trying to figure out how to follow these process chains in JEI in my first Nomi run. Keep at it. It becomes second nature after a while.

    The vacuum chest can't auto output. But thankfully you are now ready for conduits. By the way, there are also energy and fluid conduits (just search conduit in jei) these are a massive help in nomi because you don't have to always use Greg tech stuff. So if you ever need to transport liquids try use the pressurized conduits (better one comes later) first to transport it.
    You could also try to make a tank. These can be held in the inv with their content intact and be used to fill machine fluid input slots. You can also place them in the world and let your machines fill/empty them for a little bit more automation.
    Anyway good progress. Keep it up!

    In general, when you're crafting parts like the pumps or pistons, I'd suggest crafting them a bunch at a time, even if you're going for a specific machine. If you're starting out, maybe 4-8, but ideally 32-stack or so.

  • @pablos.2571
    @pablos.2571 Před měsícem +2

    you can change fluid output side of machine using wrench and just rightclicking side you want to be output without holding shift

    • @lordshmee
      @lordshmee Před měsícem +1

      Right, and you do not need an extra pump. You need a crowbar to remove machine covers like pumps, robot arms, etc. Or you can just break the machine to pop them off.

    i finished the pack and i know this type of storage isnt good making drives isnt that expensive and has futureproof

    • @CarpathiaS
      @CarpathiaS Před měsícem

      @@WhiteEagleLive No, and the drawers work fine earlygame. You can set up the crazy ae2 storage once you get settled in autocrafting. Don't worry about it yet ;)
