The private duty home care industry varies from state to state. There are some states that regulate the home care startup licensing. Before you invest any money towards starting your agency verify if a license is required.

I have my initial license now need to get agreement forms, medicaid app, p&p, and so forth...
Excellent! Congrats...What state are you in?
Did you have to have a RN. On your staff, I'm stuck I'm a CNA trying to open my own home care, I'm in NJ
@@IAMCOACHMICHELE I am in South Carolina

You must have an RN (some states an LPN check on that). Read information from your state licensure for home care. It'll explain everything. Also get your policy and procedure manuals and read for yourself. Every thing you need to know is there. Or spend money for one on one consultation. That is very helpful.

Is it possible to buy into a healthcare agency that does not exclusively service home care? Such as nursing homes hospitals etc
Do you recommend having a business partner or is it doable on your own?
Rolanda Jefferson personally I do not recommend partnerships. This can definitely be done independently. A lot of people are asking this question, I’m going to do a video on the topic:)
See you at conference, www.CoachMicheleEvents.com
Take care
Could you franchise, learn everything then open another business entity and operate anywhere you want while keeping the franchise?
You would need to verify the rules with your franchise.
I rather invest in my own business God said he will make my name great😊 I have an appointment to talk with you 7/20/20 I want you to be my coach👍🏾
Michelle I had to get a business license to drive Lyft, I paid $200 dol for it, can I use this same business license?
Cathy Allen no it’s a different business. You may be able to pay to change the name and industry code.

In other words, the franchise model in the healthcare space is 👎🏾
It depends on each individual…
This is very general information about franchising. Not very specific to the home care industry. Not well thought out in my opinion.
Just on a personal note, it’s difficult for me to listen to someone who can not communicate without saying “uh” or “um” every few seconds.
Mark, we appreciate your feedback. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Wow this guy is really rude!!
Lisa Jefferson my review was not “rude”, it was critical. It is intended to be constructive by providing ACCURATE feedback, based
on what I observed.
@@markcodysr ppl purposely wont give out too much info especially if they are selling something
Some people will complain no matter what
