Do you need an RN for non-medical services in Virgina and South Caroilna? Where can I go to find the regulations for each state?
@@nicholasmcarthurbennett hello, it depends on the services you offer. You can google Virginia home care licensure application and the do the same for SC. The answer is no for no skilled services. What if you’re in a regulated state, such as Virginia, but are exempt from licensure if your home care business is non-medical? Being that a license is not needed, a survey would not be given, correct? So in that case, would it be a good idea to use your virtual address on not just marketing materials, but business license, npi#, etc? Thanks!
@@namehidden3789 I would recommend contacting the state to confirm you are exempt. All of my clients offer non skilled services and they are licensed.
