Today we are going to discuss about the highly anticipated Wuthering Waves Release on PlayStation as well talk about controller support and cross play.
Wuthering Waves is set to Release on Android, IOS, and PC on May 22nd 2024
Imma say this a million times, a big part of genshins success was dropping it ps4 on launch day, hence why we got aloy🗑️. Sony has a huge anime community and delaying the port apart from pc and mobile is hurting it

They were never gonna wait when the biggest market is mobile and PC, every month it doesn't come out is a huge waste of money.

I played Genshin since 1.0, witnessed all banners. I don’t wish to skip the first banner of WW the dragon character 🐉 (adult Xiao) looks lit 🔥
Now I’m afraid of making a pc account and not being able to crossplay it on ps5 later on :/
I played it on the first day got some free wishes and I got jiyan and some other five stars so I am kinda ready for it to drop on PS5 cuz I mainly play on there

That's a bad idea for them to have PlayStation gamers wait because then they're not going to get all the gamers that want to play it. I'm one of those gamers that want to see this on PS5. Especially that Genshin impact did this and it worked out for them.

@@HANuNID not yet they still said it's in the works very likely going to pop up in the second half of 1.1 or probably early 1.2 if they want to middle finger Genshin impact they should release it for late 1.1.
@AshUkihime what makes you think they'd have it ready near 1.1 or even 1.2? I mean yeah absolutely I would love that but the fact that they haven't announced one yet is making think otherwise. A lot of people and articles speculate a year 😔

@AshUkihime I would hope so but considering even star rail took like 4 versions just to come to ps5 and it was a turn based and a hoyo budget game so. I hope you're right tho. Maybe they'll kick it into high gear lol

I lowkey made this mistake with Honkai Star Rail when I wanted to wait. Those who waited for hsr on ps5 missed one of the best free event weapons in the game. Hope kuro accommodates

People keep saying that it’s mainly mobline and pc players that want the game. A large part of genshins success has been console players and it would have done withering waves a lot of good to release it on all platforms at the same time

That's because the PS player base of Genshin is still far inferior to Mobile and PC, they can't put the game on hold to satisfy the smallest of the 3 markets.

I have yet to have a controller issue with PC and I’ve been using my wired Xbox controller for it and it’s been smooth sailing so what’s all this talk about controllers not working because they are working

It can be done if you have transferred your phone's Gmail to PS. For example, I put Genshin Impact from mobile to PS5 and it worked
Mobile and pc is cross progression via login email and password within the game so I don’t see why they couldn’t do the same for console

If wuthering waves gets released on PS5 it would be a huge increase in the player count because many people like these types of games and genshin had a lot of players mainly because of it being released on playstation so therefore id say that with genshin players willing to play wuthering waves it would be a huge hit if it releases on PS5 hell i might be the first one to downloaded on console ive been excited about this game for a long while and i really want to play it on my PlayStation console
P.S:it would be a bigger hit if it released on Xbox because genshin aint on there sooo

I'm getting really bad bad "genshin on switch vibes" we also got told it would come soon, and the games been out nearly 5 years and still no switch support.
But this time they haven't even announced it yet for console so we still gotta wait on that. Also I imagine it's much easier to bring it to ps5 than thr old ass switch hardware 😭 I don't think they'd be dumb enough to never do consoles, it's just a matter of when

You know, i could use some Advice. If Wuthering Waves comes on PS5, i'll have aside Honkai Star Rail a other Game to play, too. And well, from what i can tell WuWa will probably also have a 6 Week Update Cycle. And this is always two Weeks after HSR got one. That's my Guess. So, with that there will be 3 Games i have to focus on with two of them being Gacha Games. And with my Job, i'll have mostly time for only 2 Games a Day with HSR as a Side-Game and considering that i'm now done with the Main Story i can do the Side-Quests, too before WuWa comes on PS5. Of which i'll most likely spend more time with until i caught up with the Story Content that the Game has so fat. And well, that's i have to make a Plan when the best Time is for me to play my Main-Games. Can someone help me with some Advice about that?
Well it depends on how much fun you'll have with these games at that point in time and how fast you finish content.
From what it sounds like, 2/3 games would be Star Rail and Wuthering Waves, but what's the 3rd one? Star Rail is quickly done with it's daily stuff, where you can no problem grind stuff on auto and, idk, make you some food in the meantime or go to the toilet. The only things that might take a bit longer usually are the weekly simulated universe, events and MoC/PF, if you are into these things that is. But considering Wuthering will be around the same probably, you can clear as much as you want/can during the update in one game and go over to the other one after that and it's not like, at least in Star Rail, that most content will be unavailable forever after the next patch goes live. The story is still there, most events are still there, but with a few less rewards. How Wuthering Waves handles this needs to be seen, but i suppose it will be similar.
So what i would do in your situation; i would play one of the 2 games like one week actively, while you only do daily stuff on the other one and switch it every week. It might be a good change of pace too. Maybe that helped? Maybe there still is something else i'm not counting in here? In the worst case, i guess you need to ignore one of the 2 games for 1-2 days from time to time
@@blackdust7353 Well, i'm currently on Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn and i'm almost done with it, but there's some Stuff I want to as well before going to the next Game. As for HSR, there's still alot of Stuff in Terms of Quests I can do. But, I can save that for later without going through all of it at once. Like, i'm now on the Story with Topaz.
@@sekirothegreatshinobi2332 Ah i see. Then i would just recommend you switching between them every other day. Do at least the events, dailies and such in Star Rail and Wuthering, the rest stays in there forever. That maybe takes like a week each, if you are slow, because of playing something like Tales of Arise for example, and 4 weeks remain until the next patch comes around. In that time, you just go with whatever of the 2 or 3 games you have a higher desire playing more of or want to get more content done
@@blackdust7353 Yeah, it also depends how long these other Games are and what I got to do in them. Like, after Tales I still got a Stack of Games to play through. Such as Marvel's Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man 2, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West and more.

But i can tell you how long God of War Ragnarok took in total, cause i was able to play it after my younger brother got it for christmas, and for a completionist like me, it was 78 hours. So if you aren't into that, you might decrease that by like 20 hours, i would say. I didn't play the free update content tho, bc i didn't like Ragnarok that much, so that can also add a bit more to your playtime. Spider-Man 2 should be around 40-50, if i had to guess for how long my brother played

The problem with Microsoft and Xbox is that its market is miniscule compared to Sony and Nintendo's reputation in Asia. They've recently made talks with NetEase (the publishers with project Mugen) and square enix (Final Fantasy Xbox ports) so we may see a growing anime/asian market on Xbox soon, therefore gacha Xbox ports

@osama9501 they started testing both ps4 and ps5 version last year actually and ps4 settings are supposed to be little higher than max phone settings and ps5 settings are supposed to be same as pc ultra settings so dw both ps4 and ps5 getting it

It needs to be on the ps5 this game will not last long on Mobile especially it being an unreal engine game.

I want it so bad on ps5 ! Because genshin is boring and I hate genshin for no quality of life balancing I mean you can’t skip dialogues in genshin, the fighting system is boring and more of the same I mean you need basically no tactic, movement is useless while you got a lot of OP characters and artefacts. I mean withering waves is the game genshin could and should be … and don’t blame me I’m Adventure ranked 56 I had a lot of fun with genshin but let’s be real it’s a piece of dog water 😅
