  • Put the kettle on, grab a drink, make yourself comfortable, and listen to Dave share his incredible journey.
Dave was diagnosed with MS about four years ago. Like many young men he spent a good year ignoring his symptoms until he fell flat on his face, smack in the middle of Waterloo Bridge in London, whilst walking to work one day. From that point on Dave takes us down the rabbit hole of a newly diagnosed MS patient that is so familiar to all of us.
Having a young family, being self-employed but working abroad, having relapses on the Tube, not knowing another soul where he is living, and being treated for MS in a different country are just some of the challenges Dave talks about.
As ever, this completely unscripted interview is at times funny, inspiring, upsetting but overall full of hope for how to conquer the initial upset of diagnosis and start living a good life again, albeit with a new, uninvited, and permanent addition called MS.
We talk about the road to diagnosis, eventually finding a great hospital and reassuring neurologists to the future 'what ifs' that extend to potential aHSCT (stem cell) therapy.
