Until that, I offer you a unique opportunity for in-depth cinematic analysis of Alien: Prometheus. Focusing exclusively on pivotal cinematic CGI sequences, this presentation utilizes 8x slow motion and 4K resolution to really dive into the details of the film's visual storytelling, special effects artistry, and overall aesthetic.
Processed with AI tools (frame interpolation, motion reconstruction, noise management)
Colors are corrected (subtly) to bring more detail from the low-light scenarios.
I used duplicate frames to improve compression quality on CZcams. This means, it shows as 60fps video but its actually 30fps, so for optimal viewing, watching at 2x speed is recommended, providing a 4x slow-motion experience at 60fps.
Personally, when I was working on it I started noticing previously unnoticed details, such as the presence of multiple Engineer spacecraft hangars, inviting further analysis and discussion.

I'm probably not going to make a lot of people happy with this comment but both Prometheus and Covenant are cinematically beautiful. To me that puts them a notch above Alien 3
Totally agree! Even though both have some really stupid characters doing really stupid things, both films are gorgeous.
Alien 3 has become my favourite over the years.
@@TheOverlordOfProcrastination I feel sorry for you.
@@LukeLovesRose I’d have to care about your opinion for it to matter, mate.
@@TheOverlordOfProcrastination Well, its a shame you dont want to listen to other opinions. Live in your little box if it makes you feel safe
Prometheus was nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 85th Academy Awards in 2013.
What... How? This is so well done. I felt like I was there for 26 minutes. Unreal
I was thinking the same thing! This thing caught me off guard.
I swear the whole movie could have been just literally the ship roaming above that planet
There is no other movie like this Prometheus. It's like a mix of blade runner and dune but even better.. you can really go into the zone with this slow down. Good job mate!
Music is amazing as well the only thing I would have held back is the twisted metal soundtrack toward the end with the beeping
More of this kinda thing! Thank you!
Wow, this is displaying full screen on my 21:9 monitor. It looks absolutely beautiful.
Fantastic. Very enjoyable.
Love the slow motion. Excellent work.
The hardware and external shots in this film were amazing. The rest...I'll withhold comment 😁
Yeah, it's a damn shame. It could have been one of the greatest sci fi flicks ever, but they dumbed it down and ruined it. Visually stunning...intellectually ridiculous.
@@byronlemay2166 That is the perfect description, hahaha. Like a reverse critic's quote.
Exceptional
Good old ramming speed. Always works.
The Prometheus is an amazing ship. I like it almost as much as the Nostromo from ALIEN:)
I liked this movie, some of the visuals were amazing, plus the storyline is pretty cool, that ship was a great design.
WOW! Thank you.
STUNNING..!
This is fantastic 👍
amazing....sooo good!
Wow, thanks for this. All my favourite shots out of Prometheus in glorious slo-mo. What did you use for the frame interpolation just out of interest?
Thanks! I used Topaz for this but Im also using Flowframes and will be trying out new tools in the future
Excellent idea and cinematic study. The engines were the best scene here. Did you use SVP for frame interpolation?
Thanks! No, I haven't heard of SVP, I've used Topaz (Apollo). I've tried FlowFrames XVFI but at this resolution It was very slow (but possible). But I'm planning on doing some short test video to find the best one so thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely test SVP out, looks promising
Great music.
dark or light each other blink?
Awesome I loved it please do one for covenant!!!
Ok!
I was just thinking about that!!
Удивительный ролик...
Do they have enough water to survive a long distance from Earth? I wonder.
とても良かったぞ!
Amazing! Great work. Did you write the soundtrack?
I edited multiple soundscapes to fit the video, I used one of my favorite websites mynoise.net
How is this a study? You just slowed a portion of the film down and put an atmosphere track over it. How is that a Cinematic study????
So you could study it
0:32 are they traveling in speed of light?
Not even close.
speed of an acorn

Why it's destination wasn't written when it's obvious to the planet lv 426. Where Ripley landed later on in 1986.
外星飛船到底是用什麼材質製造的,地球的物質無法傷其分毫

Where does the ship have so much fuel with it, does it use dark energy? 😮😮😮
It uses Zero Point Energy (ZPE).

Not really an study
Great film was very allegorical to follow. Not for weak minds since you have to pay attention and do a deep dive into the subtext. Not easy for people who have the attention span of a dog waiting to go on a walk. Covenant didn't go far enough. Maybe it was dumbed down to appease the dim wits that complained about Prometheus. Fireball XL5 would be over the heads of today's audience. At least you have video games
100% agree. Great insight on Covenant, it really seems like it should have gone further than Prometheus, it would have been a good prelude
Right...starting with the deep minded evolutionary concept that you can drop a complex DNA molecule into a river, and after 3 billion years of evolution end up with the same molecule. Only a weak mind would accept all the ridiculous contrivances of this movie's plot. Prometheus is about as grounded in reality as Star Wars.

Beautiful
The rolling Juggernaut is so dumb. typical Hollywood...
But NOTHING happened for 26 mins of my life !!!!
Бред
Это как же надо было испортить супер фильмы про Чужого такими глупейшими частями как Прометей и Завет.
This movie was a real mess, script wise.
Ill fated obnoxious and juvenile crew, written by a desperate unimaginative creator. A poorly written film.
Эпично!
The only thing remotely good about this terrible film.
AAAAA AAAAA AAAAA AAAAA
TOI TU N'ES PAS UNE LUMIÈRE !!!!!!!!!
PARCE QU'À CETTE VITESSE LÀ DANS LE FILM ON N'EST PAS PRÊT D'ARRIVER ...
