- An unknown organism known as "Lumivore" is spreading uncontrollably on Earth, plunging the world into an apocalyptic crisis. In an effort to uncover the truth behind the B-37 explosion, Kenzie,Liyan, and a team of rescuers embark on a mission to space to save the mysterious scientist named Yosu from a space prison. However, the fog of truth only thickens.
As Yosu returns, the countdown to the story officially commences!

I really hope there is a part two to this story. I was engrossed in the story and art and animation. Just a wonderful experience.

Geez! I forgot I was watching a short!!! I was so engrossed... Great great job folks! The art was awesome, the score was captivating, the characters were although quickly introduced, needed no serious back story or additional information to describe whats going on... Masterful. Thank you for the trip.
This was one of the most impressive sci-fi short movies I've ever seen. I don't know what you guys are doing whether it's a Sci-Fi Series or an upcoming game but I wish you the best and I encourage you to keep moving forward.

So i finally watched this....ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWN PLEASE MAKE THIS AVAILABLE AS A SERIES.

Incredible visuals but that seriously made me cringe hard. Yes, some people can be more emotional than others but she came off and completely unreliable and useless to an unbelievable level.
But she just wanted to stop from saving a murderer?
@@I-MAC This is what kinda pisses me off. Like everyone's blaming her and spitting on her for the guy's death but the dude killed billions of people including her parents and she doesn't look that old, so she's probably isn't as wise and experience as the guy thus more impulsive. It's like blaming someone because they want to kill someone who has potentially caused mass-murder.
I feel like alot of people think they wouldn't have done the same to the murderer of their own parent when they were nothing but a child (or at least young enough to have been hugging a plush when the explosion occured).
DAmn, i really went on a rant but it angers me to see people hating without trying to empathize

They do look like a band of vagabonds with troubled past, forced into this mission by circumstance.
She didn't know untill she was in the neuropridon, flash back of the prisoner.
Oh my god, if she could have just shut up and didn't throw a tantrum then the guy could have lived.
That's why you never go on an op if there's anyone involved, even just one person, who you can't trust fully and totally.

Sadly it getting credit has more to do with the business side of getting it in front of as many eyes as possible much more than it has to do with the quality of the art

Infinite kudos to the team who put this together. Incredible amount of work and talent went into creating this, the CGI graphics are 1st rate, character development well thought out, it's all good. Following the storyline gets a bit jagged at some moments, more time for this production could have expanded backstory and supporting characters to fill in those elements, but all said, congrats on a well done production. I'm surprised this hasn't appeared yet on DUST . . . best of luck to you all.

At this point, I'm not sure if it's the scientist being tortured or the guy. lol.
Impressive animation sequences. I am not sure if the "Lumivore" is a plague caused by the evolution Yosu was seeking accidentally released. Or that his "work" had been militarized and he took the fall for the government/ organization. Look forward to find out more in part 2. Thank you for making it!
From what Kenzie saw of the court case; plus the scene of that military officer; I suspect the military interfered and caused the disaster, then blamed it on him to cover their asses.
Very GREAT Work and FANTASTIC ,AMAZING short Movie .I ' m really desappointed when i saw time laps at the End : 28 minutes ,i don't pay attention to this point .I hope sinceraly that there is a Part two or a complete Movie of this short science-fiction story ,the next time...

I would gladly pay $30 easy to have 90 minutes of this on the big screen ( lotta drum roll which is great but ya gotta have a great story start to unfold now ) and I know a lot of other people would too! I have to admit there are 'some things' on YT that are worth watching than what you see on the mainstream.

the cg water is like magic. Remember the first time I saw Jurassic and researching how the CG was done...Silicone Graphics was top in the industry....All this ..a long way from the first Jurassic Park.

The production values are really good but I really did not like the Kenzie character. Super annoying. I get what you guys are trying to do by giving her an emotional dilemma, but she doesn't overcome it on her own and acts in a really unreasonable way that makes her seem unlikable and untrustworthy, especially for a mission of such importance.

Funny... I think the exact reverse. Yes she lack "professionalism" as a cold blood No-nonsense "fellow the rules" soldiers of special ops often does.
But they are resistance. Hackers. Anarchy cell against the big bad fascist gvnt. And she is there because of vengeance for the lost of her family.

I feel the same way that this was great but didn't like the Kenzie character.
Kenzie wasted enough time so that they couldn't get away, and was the direct cause of her partners death. Worthless character.

i like this kind of futuristic scifi, very rare in hollywood studio that mostly making retro styled scifi
what a great story line. I was glued to it the whole time but please don't leave us begging for more! I understand the time this had to take but we need more just like this, please.
Aesthetically has Stellar Blade vibes and the story reminds me of Giant Robot anime.
I would have thought their droid friend would have been more important than the scientist, as it had full access to the facility and thus the "neural memory patterns" of it's residents.If I understand the technology, they "imprison" a mind and keep the body in stasis to maintain the torture almost indefinitely. My guess is they made the scientist responsible a deal. "You will be useful, and can continue to conduct your research in the "virtual world" where you can find the answers and not harm any others". It also seems that the disembodied "consciousness" of the people he destroyed are also in this gargantuan virtual world.
It's basically a massive consciousness repository. Disembodied people, their bodies destroyed continue to work and serve perhaps not knowing they are no longer in the living world. To say it's extremely unsettling is an understatement. And while the protagonist is a very annoying and disinterested girl, it might be the result of massive trauma from the accident. But the machine did reveal much to her, if she can only retrieve it. So she might be the key.
They are not really torturing him, it was mentioned that it was a roundabout way for them to try "hacking" his secrets by reading his "memories" but it "doesn't work that way", so indirectly the prison was a failure.

10/10 would read the book.
Except for the character development, it’s obvious you guys will get much better with time …but the art, photography, set design everything else is top notch. This as a series would have me GLUED to the screen.
Just hire a seasoned tv writer, spend enough money for rewrites and IM SURE POSITIVE this will go insanely viral worldwide. Great music also inserting classical Beethoven in there was a nice touch.
I can't stand scenarios where all is jeopardized because some girl or boy is just too unfit for the job
