You should have changed the PCV valve, I saw a lot of oil in the intercooler and compressor!

No I think you can remove it without removing manifold and supercharger. 😁👌not 💯 sure but I’m sure if you look you’ll figure it out 😎

Two years ago and you’re helping me today!! Really appreciate the walk through and helpfull to know which deletes are a go. Just one question as to what you did to the other end of the hose that goes to that box right after the intercooler into the engine

I changed the supercharger pulley on my C180K and after i was done with putting everything back together my car was running rough when idle and after a few seconds i start to hear a small like banging noise coming somewhere from the engine unlike your louder bang i get a lot smaller ones with a more metalic sound.
I would really apreciate your help

I didn't understand two things....
- How did you manage the fault codes? They were just fake... or did you get some real problems?
- Did you measure the inlet air temperature? I mean... the air filter in this location without an airbox and without the hose coming from the front of the car could get hotter air than before...

I always just cleared the faults codes and then they didn’t come up again 🤷🏻♂️would not recommend 🤣🤣and yes definitely hotter air means less power but at that power level it’s not much at all . Stock airbox works fine if a person can maybe fit a cone filter in it that would make it breathe a bit better🤷🏻♂️😁💪🏼
There is also a K&N high airflow filter that fits into the stock airbox, its the E-2011 (i think). I installed it and you can almost hear the Kompressor screaming with the lid mounted, without the lid it alsmost screams like in this video

He has a stock supercharger, its the eaton m65 supercharger.

I have a c200 m271 163hp tuned about 200 hp. I would like to know if update to custom intercooler will give me more hp or only this sound? This sound is from the valve that you disconect or from the ic update? Thnaks in advance
Wow that’s more than mine😁I’m looking into another engine now.😅😂I don’t think the intercooler makes a big difference but then again I’m NO expert 😂my “hot” intake doesn’t help much too😂😂😂
For any sc car with root supercharger and expecially with smaller pulley, intercooler and colder spark plugs is in must. Roots style SC generates many heat compared to turbo or screw/centrifugal type SC... On stock engine it adds like 7hp if m271 engine is. IAT sensor perfectly sends info into ecu about
compressed air temp , but lol, if you tune it, you will get much more potential, due reduced detonation possibilities.

Andrés Bánrévi Thanks for the advice 😁 If you are talking about the parts , I had the pulley custom made and the intercooler is from a supplier in Johannesburg. (Mr Turbo) we don’t have the best online shops here in South Africa 😅

@@RicerBenz Hey Man, know this is an old Vid but can you maybe give a breakdown on the parts and pricing. Like what did Mr Turbo charge for the intercooler? Its leka mods which i self want to try on my W204. Cost on that pulley as well

Plumbing is weirdly expensive,about R200 per 90bend
Pulley removal and new pulley was about R500 if I remember correctly. Lucky the guy who did the pulley is also a car guy. Helps loads when people understand the dreams😁

I believe the car can only handle a maximum of 12psi, as i was looking into a turbo build.
I found this online;
M62 Max boost:
10psi/460cfm @ 14000 rpms
M62 hp gain:
7hp @ 4000 rpms, 36hp @ 14000 rpms
M62 Operating temperature:
135° @ 4000 rpms, 180° @ 14000 rpms

how you did the wastegate sound so loud, mine barely you can hear it, and also de SC does noto sound that loud :(
I disconnected the bypass valve. Then the sc is much louder and it makes the blow of valve sound. But the car doesn’t run like it should as it is getting false air flow readings.

@@RicerBenz no no, i mean the front bumper. The intercooler looks nice but for the TÜV the original bumper needs to be mounted

There is a big boost leak from the supercharger throttle plate, U blocked where it mounts but U didn't block where the mouth of the throttle plate, this is going to make U lose boost
