- Jack Dorsey is a computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur who is co-founder and CEO of Twitter, and founder and CEO of Square, a mobile payments company. Vijaya Gadde serves as the global lead for legal, policy, and trust and safety at Twitter. Tim Pool is an independent journalist. His work can currently be found at timcast.com

I can't take enough satisfaction in the fact that Vijaya was fired and everyone sees the hypocrite she is.
It was so clear after initially watching this that Jack was not the one in charge at Twitter.
Nah, Jack knew everything about all of this .
@Charley H He knew, doesn't mean he could do anything about it.
It's fun watching all their ticks and weaseling when they are verifiably lying. Which is the whole time.
@@effoffutube He had complete control over it, don't buy that narrative. And yes, it is funny to watch both of them lie through their teeth. You could easily observe their behavior when the video first came out.
@@charleyhinton1most likely
I do think that Jack is probably a good person and has always meant well for the most part.
He's obviously extremely intelligent, creatively talented, much more business/technologically/operationally savvy than the laid-back 'silent rudder' image he was enveloped by over time often led people to believe.
I think that the repurcussions of the recent history of the social media sphere's political influence that was prioritized over the 'desire to extend voices for everyone fairly' was far more consequential than those in control of it expected them to be (alternatively-- they didn't expect to be responsible once caught), and while some of that outcome may have crept up on him and may have eventually put him in a state of happenstance that had him feeling like he failed himself and others around him-- I don't know that his situation is the exception where I would be able to say that he was the first CEO that was manipulated by those beneath him and so his circumstances were coincidentally different than the expected level of command and power of every other active CEO on earth, throughout history.
Running a company with one of the most powerful products ever produced for the communication layer of humanity is virtually impossible to get right all the time, and we're still within the first generation of such a tool being available AND utilized. The amount of terrible challenges that social companies have to manage in concert with laws across every layer of every state, country law, and layer of bureacratic political jurisdiction across the planet is bound to result in SOME failures at any given moment. I further believe him when he says that he never wanted to be the entrepreneur, and would rather enjoy staying in pocket as the technologist he is at heart (paraphrased).
I appreciate all of that: but I know damn well that he knows the politics came before the integrity of the product's continuously advertised intent. Ultimately, I hope the next opportunity that comes along for him at his level are successful in demanding the respect of the basic integrities that we know stand the test of time (like Free Speech in America that was coincidentally betrayed to persaude a political outcome... in America).
Vijaya : Context is everything

There is no doubt Jack Dorsey is an intelligent thoughtful and sincere person, so when considering Vijaya Gadde's role as an attorney and a heavy handed ideologue, her firing by Musk was justified. Dorsey openly supported free speech and Musk taking over Twitter, which in hindsight and looking at this podcast is an interesting look in retrospect, and seriously doubt that Dorsey had much involvement in the decisions to silence those that went against the enforced ideology that the Twitter a-holes like Gadde were trying to propagate.

@@rudidl19 just discovered this video. One of the most satisfying videos I've ever seen. Tim Pool was the voice of the people and utterly called out these liars, specifically Vijaya.
When Tim Pool straight up said that "there is no question about it, Twitter has a left-leaning bias," Vijaya basically said, "I don't know what you're talking about we just ban people who have a pattern of targeted harassment."
Fast forward to December 2022 when internal documents of Twitter provided by Elon Musk revealed that, per Matt Taibi. "Because Twitter was and is overwhelmingly staffed by people of one political orientation, there were more channels, more ways to complain, open to the left (well, Democrats) than the right."

Having Tim on was the such a good choice, his continuous pressure was exactly what we needed. The difference between the first one and this podcast was drastic.
Yeah, we needed him there so he could get dismantled over and over and over, first defending Milo then losing, then defending Alex Jones and losing again....What exactly did Tim do other than make conservative cry babies look even fucking dumber?
I've been growing my account with 7k followers for 5 years and they decide to suddenly ban me for "evading suspension" They gave me no explanation but the only reason they could have banned me is because I logged into my friend's account which was suspended months after i logged in, just because I logged into his account they've removed my connection to thousands of my followers. They clearly don't care about the user's experience or people being harassed because then they would have a real support system instead of kicking everyone off their platform.

Tim is a beast and he’s very much objective, calls it as he sees it.. which is why he is by far my favorite and highly underrated podcaster.. no offense mr. Rogan, your 2nd place😜
Damn, thanks for pointing that out.
I respect him on a different level
Integrity w Tim pool bull shit.bring the facts
1:18:09 this lady is so unbelievably suspicious 😂
knowing what we know now, this shit aged like fine wine.
EPIC! Tim made sure to keep the heat turned on the whole time!
@Chunky Feathers Yeah I agree. I like Tim but he talks WAYY too much and says the same shit.
@Chunky Feathers L E A R N T O C O D E
Being a fucken HUGE ASSHOLE isn't putting the heat
Learn to code puss
Chunky Feathers is so triggered...haha you are everything that’s wrong with America and you’re gonna lose.
Joe: "Do you guys have access to people's DM's"?
Vejina: "I don't know, I don't think so"
biggest lie right there
There is no possible way that they don't
“It was an accident” this might be a bigger lie
Her name is Vijaya though.
I read that as "Do you guys have access to people's DMT?", it sounded like something Joe Mama would say.
😂😂😂😂vejina wtf
Revisiting this video after the massive shakeup Elon taking over, so glad finally something is happening I thought they would get away with this censorship forever
funniest hindsight ever lol
Tim Pool makes some VERY good points. I'm glad he was on there to express his point.
He whines and complains for 2 hours that he and his ilk should be able to be hateful asshats and not face any consequences.
Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences
@@pekachu9257 That doesn't actually invalidate everything he said. Joe Rogan is perfect at what he calls "being reasonable". Just because "he and his ilk" are asshats doesn't mean people can be asshats to him on the same platform without being subjected to the same consequences. Regardless of what he has done beforehand.
He’s the only one making points, the Twitter filth just deflected & obfuscated everything, they are a Globalist gate keeper.
@@pekachu9257 "Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences"
Depends on what consequences one is talking about. If stating a political opinion on twitter under your personal name, and then you are singled out harassed doxxed and lose your job, due to a hate mob, then yes, I do think you should be free from that. Whether left or right.
Peka chu and his ilk should face consequences for his inflammatory, hateful rhetoric.
This lady reminds me of a customer service rep that can’t do anything for you
I'd like to cancel my AOL account.

reminds me of ubisoft support. they make good games, but there a shitty company
brunojake099 ... that would be like handing over the asylum to the inmates ... 😏
brunojake099 YEEEEEEEEES!! That’s the best way to put it! She’s so non-helpful and doesn’t hear a single thing you say!
“Yes sir, I understand, I’d be upset too! I totally understand and there’s nothing I can do....”
Now we know how corrupt they were
aged like sour milk
Tim pool smashed this joint!!! Didn’t hold back and didn’t back down. 💯💯💯
@@ministerpopilyo he's a fuckin idiot. Don't waste your time. Let him spit shine his Masters boots.
@Tom Anderson loves the taste of leather.
@Tom Anderson he's pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of Twitter. How dumb are you? You are what happens when a mother smokes bath salts while pregnant.
@Tom Anderson I guess you missed his point. They have too much power to have a biased agenda in how they operate a public political space.
