- I'm taking a look at my 2023 game of the year, Robocop Rogue City. I loved this game from top to bottom, and was truly impressed by what they were able to do with a little heart and soul behind this video game interpretation of Alex Murphy and the dystopian city of future Detroit. I am so happy I go the chance to play this game, and I also hope that maybe it gets some more content or even a sequel in the future. #robocoproguecity #robocop #gaming

This game was so surprising. I went into it thinking it would be a short demo type game.
Same I thought that it was going to have a lot of issues too and it's not perfect but its so fun that I didn't even care about a few graphical bugs.
We need more games like this. It was clearly made by people who loved the property. I hope that we can see a Judge Dredd game in our lifetime that's similar.
I agree it's not even about what's better, it's just about what clicked with you and why. I also think it's more impressive to see games like this where you can tell they didn't have massive corporations backing them but they still made a great game that was fun.
I loved this game and probably wouldn't have checked it out without your recommendation, so thanks for sharing it with the channel earlier this year.

What’s amazing about this game of RoboCop rogue city was that it actually paid homage to the film franchise make it a true RoboCop sequel to RoboCop 2. In some cases it really fills in a lot of the plot holes that were done in the third film, not just that but I feel like the interactions that you do in this game, that basically makes the story, on how you make your own RoboCop legend moving forward. That being said Jay we’ve had a wonderful time watching your videos over this year and we hope to see more for the coming of 2024 in your thoughts on future games.
If they make a Dredd game in the future I would be so happy

This is a great video and as someone who doesn’t really care about the Robocop franchise this video honestly makes me wanna not only watch the movies, but also play the game maybe. keep up the great work and happy New Year’s

Just make sure you change the game to performance mode. I think Jay mentioned that in his first review because the game runs way better in that mode than in Quality mode but it defaults to quality mode in the settings.

this game was a huge surprise and i was so happy this was a success.
I loved the choices you could do too in gameplay with the characters and how they had multiple endings.
This game was a pleasant surprise and a true Love Letter to Robocop. This is the sequel we all wanted!
I absolutely love licensed games like this that celebrate the films their based on and being able to explore the world of our favourite movies is always super fun very much looking forward to the upcoming jurassic park survival game but if there's one film franchise that doesn't yet have a game my personal pick is I would really love for their to be a die hard video game in the vein of rogue city for obvious reasons sadly wouldnt be able to get Bruce Willis to voice John mclain so they would have to a find a sound alike voice actor but telling an original die hard story in a video game like this would be awesome and so much fun
This game was refreshing. It was a love letter to the fans and the IP and not some cynical cash grab relying on nostalgia. I haven't beaten it yet due to not having a lot of time to play, but what I've played so far makes me really happy.

Very enjoyable experience with what seems to be genuine reverence and appreciation of the material. Loads of moments that ‘make you feel like robocop’.
My only critique of this video would perhaps be the footage of ‘the fight’ in ocp tower. Personally that was one of the best moments of the game and i had no idea it was coming. I was absolutely buzzing when that thing appeared. I agree with everything you’ve said here, but if it was me, i would re edit and hide/remove that one element. Its a massive element that is being spoiled there for robo nerds like me, who are lucky enough to go in blind. Otherwise, good stuff.

Am I the only person who has the cutscenes running really bad on PS5? Or is it just me?
The game runs very poorly in Quality mode. I discussed this in my original review, and probably should have mentioned it again in this video, but try changing the game to performance mode in the settings. That fixed a lot of the game for me. No matter what, there are some visual glitches with the cutscenes/discussions when the game camera switches positions.
