      @@eahannan I'm a young person from Kerala, India. 28 years old. Currently working as a software engineer at a multi-national company. Raised by a single mother with conservative values. During my college days, I started questioning religions from all aspects. Then I began to follow socialism and other modern ideologies. But not for too long. I started to realize I don't want to live that way because it wasn't compatible with my core values. And all I wanted was to lead a simple normal life with my family which holds my traditional and cultural values. And I was only able to find my inner peace that way. So I reverted! But I follow all sorts of religious or political figures who don't conflict too much with my belief. Such as Jordan Peterson for example.
      By the way, I'm not that intellectual or anything. I think the real reason I reverted is that I was raised a Muslim and Islam is my comfort. Sorry if I offended my fellow Muslims with my stupid story😅!

      I really did try to look into other faiths. Outside of monotheistic ones, it just didn't make sense to me at all. And I chose Islam because it combines the beauty of both Christianity and Judaism and offers a much better preserved history of the life of its central figure and a final solution through its Holy Book (which again holds its own claim of perfect preservation).

      makes sense, that explains why the allah wanted the moslems to pray FIFTY TIMES A DAY. accordiing to moslem sources, when mohamed met allah, he ordained that the followers of mohamed should pray 50 times a day ====== that would be roughly EIGHT HOURS A DAY of "your mind to focus on the positive sides of life and God itself" ====== you can imagine they already barely work in the moslem world, and with 50 prayers a day ======= the ones who do bother to get an 8 hour shift in, would have to cut that by another 50% ===== basically what the allah envisioned was a world where 1) moslems spent eight hours EVERY DAY bowing down and worshipping him 2) non-moslems coming in and extracting all the oil and natural resources in the moslem world during the same EIGHT HOURS and 3) paying the moslems in exchange for the oil and 4) the moslems than being able to buy food and clothing from non-moslems with the money 5) since there would not be any time left over for the moslems in the day to manufacture and find time to grow their own.

    • @wally86_
      @wally86_ Před rokem +2

      Tahajjud prayer is that it gives inner strength and mental peace. It also has the capability to avert acts of sin and wickedness. Also, according to the Islamic tradition, the third part of the night is the best time to make wishes/duas.
      Prophet (PBUH) said: “During the night there is a time when the Muslim does not ask for the good of this world and the Hereafter but it will be given to him, and that happens every night.”

    • @yazero6090
      @yazero6090 Před rokem

      It's the seclusion and the peace and serenity, and in addition to that the sincerity some people pray just to look devout but in the night while everyone is sleeping no eyes are on you that is more proof that your doing it in a sincere manner, also most people are asleep and the value of a good act is so much greater when you do it even though no one else does it's like you're outcompeting everyone else in devotion to Allah and he likes that.

    • @yazero6090
      @yazero6090 Před rokem

      and I guess also because it's difficult because prayer is not about quantity it's about quality if you wake up in the middle of the night while tired and still bear with it just for the sake of allah and nothing else that speaks volumes and of course increases you in reward.

    To non-muslims, one thing to understand about Islam is that it is all about praising the God, creator and orchestrator of the universe, and reminding to yourself that you are only a servant to God and nothing more. You are trying to stay humble and not be top proud as if you yourself are somewhat of a deity

    • @kc5479
      @kc5479 Před rokem

      I guess the other central thing to Islam is that we believe there is an afterworld/ hereafter where all people who die will be resurrected in a different, eternal world where you will go to heaven first or hell first and then heaven, depending on your sins or good deeds. Muslims believe that this Earth is a mere test and not the real world. All the glories, the losses, they simply do not matter. What matters is how well did you serve God in this world. Did you do good deeds and help people in need, make beneficial inventions, philantropy? Or did you only take and take and never give, just for your own pleasures? This is what matters in Islam.

    People were on the correct path, they all were monotheists, i.e. worshipping none but the Creator. But they deviated, invented new ideas into the religion, worshipped others, distorted the religion. So God sent messengers to guide people back to the straight path.
    God said: And I did not create the jinns and humans except to worship Me. Quran 51:56 And He, the most high, said: And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship God and avoid Taghut (Taghut: Anything worshipped other than God.)" Quran 16:36.
    All kinds of worship must be for God alone. So, asking Jesus, Muhammad or “saints” for help is polytheism.
