- Theresa just got a new RV that is perfect for her to travel and live in while she is serving our country in the Navy. We wanted to do an interior video to show you it all setup with the slides out. It was raining hard which messed with the audio and a wide angle camera would be nice for some of the shots but we are loving how much room is in her new class A.
An RV will be my retiement gift to myself. Great video! One day....
+Marcus Stanley Hey thanks Markus. That'll be a great gift.
Wow two days in a row, glad to have you back!
+Greg Klevgard Hey thanks. Glad to be back. Hoping to keep somewhat regular videos through my vacation.
So much room with the slides! Like a house in there! All about buying used and off season, bet she got a really good deal on that. Especially compared to the sucker that bought it brand new:)
+Wandering Patches Yeah its a crazy amount of room with the slides out. So get this. It cost a less than half of buying it new. Cheaper than any class C within 5 years of it.
We sold our Newmar Dutch Star 2007 with the same same front seats, same color and leathear . We sold it December 2017!!! And the seats were perfect, without scratch! The impression that I have is the previous have a dog or multiple dogs who chews your seats!!!
Wow that's good that not all their seats are falling apart. Have you always had the windshield covered? There are no signs or smells of dogs and the dinette and sofa leather still are in great condition. I feel like the sun got to these particular seats and probably a bad batch of pleather that was used on my particular seats.
Hey Congratulations on being a Home owner
REVEREND DAVID HAMM thank you! I’m so happy this all worked out the way it did.
Pray that we find our 5th wheel that we need and want in the Spring or fall on Craigslist
REVEREND DAVID HAMM I wish you all the best. I was pretty stoked we found this gem as fast as we did. Thought I’d be searching for months.
Love the RV.. picked up the same one last year here in VA. You're definately right about those chairs, though, and having slept on the jack-knife sofa -- lets just say in a pinch. a strong pinch should've risked the loft bed. Just a couple #s over the limit, and I HAVE been up there, and it is WAAAAY more comfortable.
Dan Murray good to know. I have not had guests yet, but glad I know now which bed to offer. Thanks!
Super nice looking rig! It's so interesting learning what people like or need versus others. Deborah really loved our rig from the get go and hasn't changed her mind, meanwhile I'd like something smaller because I'm crazy haha. Keep it up guys these are great videos!
+Deborah and Michael Hey thanks, I go through periods where I want a smaller rv and there's times where I want larger. All depends on where I'm staying and how often I'm moving. For the most part I'm happy with the length of my 25' class C for my lifestyle.
Yep our 24' Class C is pretty awesome but man the sprinter van life definitely looks amazing in some ways too!
Wow, this is a nicer RV that I first thought! When you first mentioned "Budget", I immediately thought "Stapled shelves & compressed cardboard cupboards"! But no, this rig is a real, well put together home on wheels! Teresa could give professional walk throughs. She had a wonderful and articulate way of describing all of the features! I've been following you for a long time now Carpenter, and am very familiar with your Class C....this is an awesome step up for you two, and I can't wait to see future videos 👍👌✌🏻😎 HNY 🎊🎉
+roberto abrams Well there is compressed cardboard in the cabinets, they just put a nice looking facade over all of it. One drawer needs 're stapled. My class C is doing well but I have a feeling we'll both be spending more time at Theresa's new RV when we get back.
Thank you for the kind words. It will be wonderful having so much more space and an RV that doesn’t leak or break as much. Fingers crossed!
Looks great and comfy. The shorter wheelbase will make driving easier. Seat covers. Lots of options for cameras, monitors, radios. Could have sworn I heard an ear shattering YEBBA DEBBA DOO in Carpenter's head at the mention of two people in the shower. 6 or 7 months till redeployment from Washington state? I guess we'll hear about that when you're ready to address it. Hope you guys have a really great trip. Have fun and do take care of each other.
+CITAP1 I feel like getting the seats professionally recovered can be done at a reasonable price. Theresa isn't deploying again but she is transferring to a warmer climate. At the airport now, been a crazy couple of days.
Awww....go get you a little doggie.... Shitzus are the best!!!
Beverly Balius I wish! No doggie for me for now. Too much moving around this year. But certainly in my future!
Looks good, and will Carpenter be pulling out drawers and bottom plates of RV to fill and seal cracks larger than a dime with steel wool, mouse prevention. Last A had multitude of holes for wires under cabinets, behind drawers, under plumbing chases and that was NEW! never had sealed all entry points, wondered my Dutchies were chasing across floor on Day 1.
+John Caron Oh that's a great tip. When we first went to look at the RV there were mice and Rat droppings along with a few dead cockroaches inside. That helped us get the price down a bit and is something that needs addressed for sure to keep the rodents out.
Just get pretty throws for the chairs
Beverly Balius great idea, thank you!
Could you tell us how long and wide the sofa extends to? And does any of the side panels come off from the hand rest of the sofa?
5'2.5" long and 3'3"wide. Unfortunately the armrests don't come off making it far too small for an adult to sleep on.
RV Crazy Thank you 🙏🏼 that is what I was wondering.
You didn't show where the nursery will be nor where the diaper bags are stored. Just saying. Looking forward to the 2 person shower test video...
+Linescrew1 Hmm, I'll try to convince Theresa on that shower test.
Hey, she doesn't have to do that. Two guys in the shower would be sufficient.
Retired YNC(SS). Stop talking over each other please.
