When you said you cut the 3 trigger wires off, did you have to buy something that connected straight into the back of your new stereo? Or how did you connect those trigger wires to the new unit?

have the part replaced in steel. shouldnt cost too much to have to made up by a machinist, its a really simple square tube sleeve welded to a plate with a few holes drilled. hell, nyone with a welder and drill could make one

You can also park in 2 parking stall length wise. A 36 ft motorhome can park in 2 spots the only problem is getting in and out.

Sir your rear leaf springs are way over loaded. I seen many videos of Weldtech RV leaf springs and they use 9 leafs in each spring to make them sit nice and high. Just wanting to let you know if you do this kind of parking it would be good to have heavy duty suspension in the back.

This is an old post, but I wonder how this worked out. Thar is a LOT of weight for that receiver to support. Once you stick the bike carrier into the receiver the fulcrum point is moved out about 15". That would negatively effect the 500 LB tongue weight rating. i actually use a similar rack to haul my 2010 Vespa GT 300 (320 LBS) on the back of my 2013 Ford E150 van. My receiver is rated for 1500 LBS tongue weight (non weight distribution) so No chance over being over weight on the receiver.

I did this on my 2012 f350 and camper with the trailer "hidden hitch." . It worked great. The rig rode WAY better with my Sportbike on the MotoTote in front. I added a couple cheap aftermarket headlights (designed for a jeep) to the mototote since one of the truck headlights was partly blocked by the bike.

Return those and get you a real man’s boot not a shoe. The only people that wear those are girls and sodomites. Good luck!

Great tip 👍, , didn’t have vice grips on hand so slipped the lock washer over a large Phillips screw driver shaft then gently tapped a small 8 mm socket over the washer, opened right up, doesn’t damage Phillips head as it lined up well clearing the head, thanks 🙏....
