After buying their PB-20 Standard Series I got vastly disappointed by the string setup and quality control. In a month or two I'll buy this one, thank you!
Great bass, the specs are unbelievable for this price. Had to do some setup like on every new bass. It sounds great and plays great and doesn’t feel cheap. The only thing I would be curious is the difference in playability related to the fretboard radius of a fender.
Awesome review ! Thank you for going in such detail with it! I'm looking to get this one for myself but I love the look of jazz basses without pickguards, and wonder , how does the pickup underneath it fit in the wood ? Is it fitted in the wood or does it have the larger routing hole for it like in other cheaper models they've made? Thank you!
I love mine ,came near perfect Only neg it is heavy, get a good thick bass strap, All my bands love my sound w it and 3 of my bass player buds bought them too after seeing me😃
I just got mine from Thomann in Germany and I couldn't be more pleased. Harley Benton puts Fender basses to shame.....and for a fraction of the price and better quality.
I had one tuner ng ,loose at the clover leaf But HB replaced it graciously It is my 2d bass ,very good public relations w them And well if you don't like it send it back w in 2 weeks they even pay shipping last l heard , check it out
I got this model about a month ago. I'll never look at another Fender ever again. Harley Benton's quality control is far better than Fender's best bass on the market.
I've been wanting to get into slap bass and probably learn to play to play the blues, maybe some rock/metal. However don't want to invest in a expensive bass since I'm a beginner. Would anyone recommend this bass?
I would! I think it’s the best beginner bass out there, of course you can spend more and get something like the Squier Classic Vibe stuff, but those are in a totally different price range. This bass + a good setup is perfect to learn and grow!
I've been playing this bass for a long time as my daily driver. On my scale it weighs 5.7kg... so heavy???? Yes, but what a great sounding and easy to play bass it is.
@@sergioserramusic I personally prefer this HB to Fender Squier Affinity P-Bass. This HB has such a round warm beautiful deep sound. Such a pity it’s almost 5kg. Mine is arriving about half January. Love the colour too! Fits well with my certains haha!

Great Demo, Thanks!
We need this in a 5 string version
There's one listed on Thommann now, it just dropped pretty recently and hasn't been reviewed yet. I'm tempted to grab one myself

Thank you man! I do believe it’s mounted to the body, but I’m not 100% sure

I replaced the tuners with a set from "Grover". now it is almost perfect. I like the pickups. i will never buy a 7ender 😊
Does bigger strap reduce pain from weight from this bass?
It might, I haven’t tested it, but it will make it more bearable :)
It sounds well balanced but the output is overall too weak to me. I guess a pickup upgrade is necessary there.

^FACTS!^ 👊🏾
@64jazz These JB-75's are the best passive jazz basses on the market. HB puts Fender to absolute shame, (unless it is the Made In Japan Fenders)

Please have mercy! 😂

@@mauricerijsdijk2472 well ash in general is a heavy wood (unless is very old or heavily treated)
