Hey! We are the blessing boys and we’ve got a monster of a transformation for you today. This driveway is an absolute mess and we are beyond excited to give it a complete makeover, If you watched our last video, me and the boys took care of the front yard on this home which the neighbor told us has been abandoned for about 3 years. In this video we will take it section by section working towards the house. The boys will be using a tarp to haul all of this nasty debris away. You’re going to want to stick around until the end to see how crisp we got this driveway and as a bonus we also found a sidewalk that was almost completely hidden and cleared that too! Goodness that young man in the white hoody could sure use his own shovel. He was killing it with those tall weeds until Dad had to use it. But he just kept finding things to do…quite self motivated. Wonderful to see all your sons out with you helping others in their community.

That youngest one of yours...he's a great boy. He just kept on working. He took the initiative himself, a couple different times. He works well, undirected. He watches what you do like a hawk. All your boys are great. You're doing agood job fathering your boys.

Hey Bettina belated msg from 2024... what gets my goat is that all of these American houses empty or not have such humungously big (can you be humungously big ?:) ) yards front and back.. As far as I am aware - there is no way an Aussie would have a yard like that without building another home on it or units or granny flat on it to make extra money, but sadly these folks don't seem to care. They just have houses that are falling apart and big yards they cant look after.. or maybe its just because I am jealous because I'm renting and a pensioner so no way would I get a loan to get my own home which I would gladly look after... and rents are becoming impossible to either pay for or even find...cheers from WA

I did notice however that the hedges seem trimmed. So that wouldn't suggest 3 years abandonment.
Bit iffy. Burglary, trespassing? I would consult the local police first. And have them contact the municipality to secure the place. Current situation will only lead to further decline.
@@_PJW_ If they’re boxwoods, they grow very slow. They could have been trimmed 5 plus years ago and not look too different.

Young Judah is an amazing worker. Even when he’s having a hard time he tries to keep at it.

i wasnt close to my dad for the most part, but the best memories i have with him is being out in the yard doing yard work. These boys will treasure these moments someday

The house itself doesn't look too bad from the outside and I've seen many people are living in look worse including the one we're renting. Your sons are doing well figuring out how to participate on the driveway. The power unit looks very helpful for you and probably other people with power equipment of various sorts. Smart idea to be able to cook or heat foods on the job. People are commenting that your kids could probably learn to power wash. True, but you have to have access to water, which might not be available on empty homes. Smaller projects, as a walkway to the door, stepping stones or stairs would be likely "starter" things to try. (Brad of Copper Creek showed a small, simple "Sun" unit one time. Can even sit on a chair to use it.) It is interesting how this home is "reappearing". It wasn't really possible to see how big the driveway was, or how it interacts with the property. A hidden sidewalk is a second surprise. You are getting into Landscape Archeology today. Hidden borders, walkway, forms. Glad your kids are having the experience of the fun of finding and repairing things. That is now looking like a home people would enjoy going to.
