Looking to build an airboat out of my 13hp motor. I want to go smaller diameter prop (3 blade) maybe around 36 to 40 in. what pitch degree would you recommend? Awesome rig !
yes hello, i was wondering what size motor you have, and has it been jetted to eccept the fuel flow with your air filter and exhaust..and what size prop and pitch,, im not building one im a aircraft builder for small paragliders. we want to build a trike with 4 stroke power.. thanks any help would be grateful.
The following is Air Motor data,,, Honda 13 HP GX390 with 12v electric start and recoil,,,has built-in 10 A recharge,,,Go Kart, or air Boat, or Ditcher, or other use. It has a few modifications,,,increasing the 13 hp power curve,,,carb air intake adapter and high flow air filter,,,two stage exhaust header,,,280 duration Marine Cam, power range 2200-5500 RPM,,,the ignition rev limit system replaced with non limit system,,,4 degree ignition flywheel keyway timing advance,,,stock 17mm Venturi carb replaced with bored 25mm Venturi, fuel jet re circuited carb, as recommended for cam. Stock air box, muffler, and carb are removed. Stock specs call for governed 3600rpm, with 150+or- 3850 max adjust with governor control. Governor link arm to carb has been detached,,engine will turn 5120 rpm,,,no load. Dyno tested at 16+hp with just two mods,,,air box removal and exhaust header added changes. Cam and carb changes expected to make engine produce 20+hp per N&R Racing,,,their new parts!!! their dyno. This Honda GX390 electric start engine has a 1" straight shaft, keyed. Prop is from Tennessee Ptopellers Inc.,,, 48"x 16". Ask any questions. Jimbo crevale@swbell.net
