  • The role of the Media is very key in awareness raising about the worst forms of child labour. It is common knowledge and practice that any person will only learn and understand that which he/she is informed about. The media plays a critical role as a channel for informing and educating the people on the dangers of child labour. its a tool which can not be ignored in all social programming efforts and campaigns.
    This campaign is a stakeholder driven multimedia campaign strategy involving all forms of media tools like videos, newsprint, audio clips and online articles designed for outputs and outlets on TV, Radio, Print, Mobile Video shows, Long distance routes Bus screenings, Workshops etc to reach many people from all walks of life. it is an initiative designed to mobilize the voices of all stakeholders involved with the fight against child labour in Zambia. Therefore, this multimedia campaign demonstrates how stakeholders can be mobilized and given a platform to air their views, concerns, challenges, impact and success stories in their fight of the scourge of child labour in Zambia.
