CHILD LABOUR IN MINING BOBOSA

Child labour in Mining is especially common in the Copperbelt in the black mountain sites and other places where cheap labour is demanded to do the dangerous labour intensive work in order to save on cost. The high of poverty levels have pushed many families to engage children in voluntary and forced labour to help easy household economic hardship. With funding from ILO-IPEC and ILO-CDW, M-films developed a broad based and stakeholder-driven multimedia campaign to create wider awareness so as to effectively address the challenges by faced by children involved in the Worst Forms of Child Labour prevalent in Zambia.
