Went back and watched the walkthrough of your Dad's cabin. The level of detail and personal touches is extremely impressive. All the wood is a carpenters dream. Home is where the heart is.

Your nephew has such a thick accent, cute sounds like an old man! But I hear I have an accent, impossible! Your dads home is magical. Reminds me my home in a way, everything was wood made by my grandpa from Sweden. Big difference, we were 30 miles from town, no electricity, wood heat, coal oil lamp, it was magical in its own way. And though not uphill I had a 7 mile return walk to school in winter, and my bike in non snow or rain weather. You are so like your dad, and lucky to still have him. Enjoy every moment with him. Wow!! I didn't know you lived in the Smoky Mountains when you were younger. I'm from TN and have visited the Great Smoky Mountains many times since I was a child. Your Dad's home is beautiful. I just saw some videos of the flood in Gatlinburg and Sevierville just recently. Hope your Dad's place was spared from all of that drama.

I love your Dad's cabin even more now!! The details and special touches all arorund the place tell of his love for wood working and the time he put into it to make it a home. I wasn't jazzed about the stuffed animals, but I can appreciate his love of nature. Truly, he is master craftsman. Love it!!

That cabin left me speechless to such an extent I started thinking about it and it struck me that so called "high end" designers create "cabins" that aim to emulate that authenticity, and for all the millions of dollars they command, they're still a million miles away from the authenticity that your old man has created, because it can't be designed in, it has to come from within. What an awesome place he has.
He's a lucky man that gets to spend time with his son doing what they both love to do.
Having that YardMax is highly genius 👏 my wife's Grandfather that lived in the Ozark mountains few year back actually passed away from heavy lifting in his homestead, very similar to this property, he was lifting a heavy sink by himself and it caused him a heart attack, having something like this machine is a smart move, no pun intended. Im writing from the uk, near london, thanks for showing your father's house, WOW, it's truly a magical and mystical hide away, deep in the woods with trees 🎄 as tall as the sky, your father is incredibly talented, he has added his own personal touches which makes the house very unique.i really love the stone finish on the wooden archway inside the house. im thinking of living in a large long box trailer attached to a car and I would love to incorporate some of this design into there, like the wooden effect, stone archway for very a homely touch, kitchen cabinets with ingraved etc also i would like to add some design from your own wooden camper..........anyway thanks for showing your dad's place....!!!!
I'm from Chattanooga and live in Knoxville so I have lived near The Smoky Mountains all my life and love it. I also like to crossover into NC and go to The Cherokee National Forest and oh yeah can't forget Ocoee!

Thanks for sharing a video about your dad's cabin! That is heaven on earth to me! I used to go with my parents and her family to drive through the skyline drive. Then we would reach Cherokee N.C then across the mountain to Gatlinburg! All my family is gone now but I will always have a place in my heart for the good times we had.
Wow! Magnificent. Just beautiful home through and through. It very much a piece of art, not just a home. I'm not one for taxidermy , it's just not my thing, but everywhere you look, there is such detail, and natural beauty all done by your dad's own hand. I'm sure your so proud of your father, and he has taught you so much. Your lucky to have had such a father growing up. So many young men are not taught so much by their fathers anymore. Times have changed, and not for the better, in that way. So often young boys and young men don't have a father that is a role model or a teacher, who shows thier sons how to how to work hard for themselves and the family they might have someday, or help them find a trade, so that they will always be able to find employment,how to fix a car, how to use tools, and build things, and how to be the patriarch of their own family day. I love your channel, and I'm always impressed with how much you know, and the life you have chosen for yourself. You have to really know what your doing to have the life you have, and now all of your followers out here in you tube land, know exactly where you got it from.
