Thats just mind blowing to me. The brother said between 14 and 18 he was out on the streets for 2 weeks total. In 4 years. Damn

It's Good Seeing Big Toon on here in his element after he'd served time here in Alabama with me. Keep doing your thing Cuz
This was an awesome interview! Questions and responses were perfectly asked and explained. This interview needs more shine. Underrated.
From 1979 until 2018 he has only been outside of the institution of jail or prison for 11 months and 22 days. Thats remarkable in the worst way possible. Remarkable that he's able to function right now but terrible that he missed out on so much crucial development and productivity in life.
And nothing to show for it.
Man just goes to show that americas form of institutional help, does not help!!!!! SHIT IS A SCAM AND PUTS MONEY IN THE GOVERNMENTS POCKETS!!!!

I spent a summer in California back in the 80's when the gang thing was heavy. Coming from the east coast part of the country it was nutty to me. Gang culture in my city was dying out but in Cali it was in full swing. First time I saw dudes wearing colors was long before we ever heard anything about it on the east side of the country. People who come from the east coast and hear these stories don't realize LA is vast city with a lot of sub cities inside. The way these cats can recall all them guys from all the gang areas across LA is amazing. I never had any issues when I was there but I ran into some of the names I hear in a lot of these interviews today.
💯
The 80s belonged to L.A Gang culture. After the 90s the east coast (NJ) took it to a whole new level with the gun play
You keep sayin east coast so where Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania? If you're from NY west coast culture was corny to us in NY because you're wearing colors to identify yourself ..it identified you to your enemies but also identified you too your local pd .....never made sense to me to be blatant
I remember meeting lil Fee once he left OH. He hit Paso in 82 and landed on Nipomo. I never understood why he came straight up to me. I’m a southern Mexican. Politely respectfully he introduced himself and I’ll never forget his intro. “ lil Fee rolling 60 crip gang. South central LA” In return I introduced myself shook his hand. He didn’tlast long at all. He ended up staying in Cambria AC. I then ended up in YTS and he ended up there as well. There were just too many 83 so I didn’t see him much. I went to OR and got too meet some of the worst if not thee worst kids in Southern California. Got to admit that was the best time of my life surrounded by a gang of solid homies San Fer was the majority at that time in OR
Sounds like you got an interesting story to tell
Oh it wasn’t no tension All love with the crip and south sider ?

From 1979 to 2018, he was on the streets for only 11 months and 22 days. That's craaaazy. Assimilating back into society must have been tough when you've been institutionalised for the greater part of your life

Ayo ... this old dude from the Bay Area named Zoe The Roasta got an interview on Holding Court, and he did time with Lil Fee in San Quentin. Man, listen - this dude was asked what was the craziest shit he saw at San Quentin, and he said the CO's came to take Fee somewhere and put handcuffs on him. He said they were talking shit to him and Fee said, 'Y'all think I can't come up outta these handcuffs???" AND BROKE OUT OF HIS HANDCUFFS.
