This was one of my favorite stories by Cartoon 😂
I think what no one pays attention to is that Cartoon in his heart is a CRIP first the gangster is second! The older Crips are Crip first from Cartoon to many others, they are old enough to be proud of being Crips!

I'm a non-affiliate but I have one memory of that Park. STORY TIME !
During the '92 Truce, I was a teenager with a car. I remember dropping off a relative and a few of his homies. When I say that Park was packed, that park was PACKED ! My thinking at the time was, _"This can't do anything BUT go bad !"_ I dropped them off and got the f**k up outta there ! Lol. There were so many Bloods and Crips up there that it was INSANE to see !
That truce between the Avalon's and the bloods in the area still holds today. Probably the only truce from 92 that still holds today.

My Grandfather was a Businessman from South Park. He really loved that community and was proud to be from the Eastside. We lived on the westside in the Raymonds but would go to the Eastside to get those good homemade burgers. All my great uncles went either Jefferson or Fremont.

Great interview Street TV. What influenced the Avalons to adopt the Crip identity? Was it due to the influx, of brothas representing Crip when they first started? Could they have remained neutral during that time? Or was it impossible to do so?
