This is the Chateau Lake Louise. Canada’s crown jewel nestled amidst the continental divide of the rockies. Join me on my 2 night stay, where the grandeur of over a century of history converge into a symphony of unforgettable experiences. From coffee and treats, looking out onto the glaciers of the Great Lake and surrounding vistas, to the fire that almost destroyed all of this in 1924. This is the Chateau Lake Louise. Would you stay here?

Trav i like this content, as Canadian history is amazing as any history is amazing. To all the great people as well who lost their lives while building the tracks across Canada! This is great for them to get the respect they well deserved!! 💚💚💚🇨🇦 Happy Canada Day
Happy Canada Day to you too brother and thank you for always watching!
Looks stunning! great video Trav.
Thank you brother! :) hope you enjoy the rest of the series
Such a beautiful view indeed, and the food looked delicious, now I have to try Magic Spoon !
Fruity is the best flavour. Thank you as always my friend for watching :)
love these videos Trav!
I love making them and sharing them with you my friend!
Ty Trav!
Thank you for always watching and supporting brother :)
Loving the series Trav. I really like the historical perspective you are including in the series. It really is highlighting just how beautiful Canada is. One question, when you guys went hiking the trails what shoes did you wear? Odd question but I’m buying shoes now for a family visit in December/January so it’s great to hear from a local. I’m looking forward to your next video in the series! Cheers
I think they advise against hiking in the winter but I just use my nike metcon shoes and never had a problem although prob you wont hiking boots. Thanks again for the love and watching each episode! Excited for you to see the Winnipeg one ;p
Love this series. Hope you decide to come south to the States and do railway hotels here. Lots of NHL cities…
I hope the series explodes, and i can finish the rest of Canada's railway hotels and then come stateside. Still loads more to do like the Empress, Princes of Wales, Prince Arthur, Chateau Laurier, Chateau Frontenac, and Queen Elizabeth ;)
Morant's curve still sees the Rocky Mountaineer during the spring and summer.
It absolutely does BUT it's not a long distance passenger train. It doesn't make stops along the way or resemble much of The Canadian outside of the old tracks.
@@trav4oilers The single-level railcars it uses are ex-VIA and ex-CN daynighter coaches, a few of which saw service on the Canadian.
That's not what I would call a chateau, more like a village. Thanks, Trav, awesome once again. Off topic here, but I just returned from Montana, I've never been surrounded by so much natural beauty, but Trav, Lake Louise certainly comes close.
It’s an incredible feeling when you’re in that peaceful beautiful setting! Never been to Montana but just a continuation of Banff I heard thanks for watching
Sick. I love the history twist, has a bald and bankrupt (youtuber) feel to it. Maybe break up the history lesson and spread it out through parts of the video? Either way I think these videos have high potential, probably a lot of cool stuff around Canada, looking forward to the others
Hey thanks for the comment zach!. I got 8 more episodes on the grand railway hotels of Canada coming out so I hope you enjoy them all. I try to spread it out a bit more as the series goes on
Watching this on Canada Day, it makes one proud to see that we have such stunning world class scenery. Even with this hotel being a little pricey, it definitely is on my bucket list.
That’s awesome! Beautiful timing to appreciate Canadas chateau, on Canada Day!
1-“Why didn't you tell me about that thing?”
2-“Well, 'cause I wanted us to fail! OBVIOUSLY I DIDN'T KNOW!"
Trav, thinking out loud here, but if you have any time, you might try to squeeze in some indigenous, first people conversation. We are talking about Canada, eh?
Funny enough I actually am metis. not full blown status. I think a lot of people bringing that into a video like this would make it feel forced or preechy, if it fits I'd love to expand more (and do in the Fort Garry episode) and hope you love the whole series :)
@@trav4oilers Thank you, Trav! Just crawling back into the various tribes of Canada & the United States. I welcome these travel vlogs.
