- Fair warning, lots of time lapse in the middle part of the video, lol, but we had to focus on getting work done instead of filming. In this episode, we get the header panel installed, the grille, some of the front lights and wrap up the exhaust and front end mounting to get the car do the dyno. Stay tuned for the dyno video!!!

We love hearing from all of you!
Cleetus may have brought most of us here.
YOU, Kev, are the reason we keep coming back.
Please keep making videos of your projects.
Amen to that
True 💪
Well said - I was going to say the same, you did it for us.
Preach preach
Got a tear in my eye after that Swordz. 😁
Don't worry, we came for Mullet, but we most definately stay for you and your skills, Kevin.
I totally agree with you KT
Absolutely 💪🏻
100%
Absolutely! Couldn't have said it better. Kevin isn't just a top notch builder but one hell of a true craftsman.
Yup
We all need to hang around for Kevin even after mullet is done. Awesome dude!
YES!
Agreed
True that great content man doesn't cut any corners everything is pie cuts nicely Tig welder!!!👏
Fact
I'm unsubcribing straight after the dyno! 😉
Only messing, of course I'm not! 😂
We should all thank the people in the background putting in extra time with Kevin to get this car ready. They deserve some love!
Hi Kevin, you're right, many of us did find your channel thanks to Cleetus, but the fact that we are still here is 100% down to you.. Your personality, skills, and overall character are the reason :)
Bingo Bango Bongo hehe
Don’t worry Kev we will still be here once mullet has finished!! Hell yeah brother
KEVIN>>Dont change a single thing about You, Your channel or Way you work ... Utter legend!!!!!!! Good luck from Ireland
I for one am going nowhere. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and your love of car building is what will keep me here.
I’d like to see more in depth footage of some of your work . The people that are here like the technical stuff . Love it .
I will admit I failed at that on this video. Hopefully the video we are filming today comes out better ;)
@@KSRPerformanceFabrication There will always be a compromise between making very detailed videos and actually getting things done. What you could do in some instances is making longer "uncut" videos of specific types of jobs. Less editing and talking, and just stick them on a second channel, referring to them in your "main" videos.
You don’t get enough credit for the effort your put into your craftsmanship, if I ever hit the lottery I’ll give you a call
If i ever hit the lottery myself im buying a car from LEFT HAND UTES and then getting him to customize it !!!
Idk with lottery money id probs wanna try and learn to do my own car lol. But theres no doubt kevin and the guys do amazing work. Maybe pay him to teach
I can get on board with this. Pay Kevin to do the wiring, setup, drivetrain build and have someone else do a nice custom interior. I'm thinking a G8 converted to a Maloo HSV from the B-pillar back, with a 5.2L Voodoo, and a custom interior. It may take 12 months but it would be worth it.
Sometimes walking away when things are not going to right, is the right thing to do. I find coming back later alway helps with fresh mind. I love your attention to details, I always said to my employees, that “It’s all about the small details!” Look forward to more of your builds.
Sometimes taking a step away is the best thing to do. Good choice!
This is always the best way to start a day. Gonna go brew some coffee quick and then watch some car building goodness.
You might have Cleetus to thank for the audience, but every single one of us stayed because of your insane work ethic, attention to detail, and badass builds - make no mistake about that.
I second that!
Cleetus did us a favor by bringing us here, but you sir...you are the reason we will stay. I look forward to the Nova build and whatever comes after that from KSR.
That last 10% is always a killer. Great work Team KSR!
I soooooooo understand the frustration when the timeline is looming and the project is fighting ... thanks KS for sharing the reality of these projects ... not just all the fun stuff!!!
I'm happy to see so many people saying they joined the channel because of Mullet but plan to stay and keep viewing. I feel the exact same Kevin is really interesting and intelligent and watching him work through a project is fantastic, it won't matter to me when the car changes. I just like watching the man problem solve. Thanks to everyone at the KSR shop for sharing with us, you are all obviously busy and it's great that you take the time to let us viewers be a part of it all.
Hear hear
So much more too come in the future.
Wished Kev had videoed stuff from the other shop. Truly awesome to see him in real life working. Kevin hasn't changed one bit in the last 7-8 years that i can remember.
Dude the hustle is real. For what it's worth, we admire your hard work
I like how he doesn't use cleetus McFarland in the title for more views. Not only also he doesn't even tag him.
The real Cleetus fans know enough that Mullet is his car anyway 😉
it will be better for the algorithm to pick it up because it mentions a channel with more viewers
There's so much clout chasing on CZcams like that. "We bought WhistlinDiesel's totaled truck" etc etc. Even those guys admit they bought their views. Kevin's legit. I like him without even having met him.
@@mckrackin5324 Getting a channel profitable enough to cover the extra work and costs involved is crazy hard now with the You Tube algorythm, I am ok with clout chasing as long as the content is there to back it up.
@@ForeverNeverwhere1 exactly, Kevin has all the right to use Cleetus name but he doesn’t. I wouldn’t mind if he did because he deserves the followers but I respect that he just lets his channel ride out and isn’t clout chasing to force growth. Such a respectable mechanic unlike my boat mechanic.
Stoked to see how comfortable you are on camera these days!
Rewatched the Mullet series today and it’s really damn impressive- big ups from Australia 🤘🏼
Kevin is a badass. Lots of respect for all the work he did building this car. I’m glad he started a CZcams channel and letting us follow this build.
you really get an appreciation for just how tall the giraffe is when he is standing next to regular sized people.
I was thinking that if they raise the lift high enough for Cleeter no one else can reach to do anything.
I'm 6'1" and I look up at him.... lol
I've ended lots of days with projects I'm frustrated with. That means I have to start my next day with that frustration but I look at it like starting a day with a hangover. It can only get better. Important to take a step back and breath sometimes. Aggravation leads to shortcuts and things getting missed.
I've said it a thousand times but, again, I love your work. It's like watching an artist.
As a mechanic myself, I respect your attention to detail. You never cut corners and are willing to rework until you're happy with it. You are my favourite REAL CZcams identity....
I can say my good sir i do enjoy these longer videos. Thanks for the awesome content Kevin, i think i speak for a lot of people when i say we aren't not just here for mullet. I look forward to seeing more vids!
I've been building hot rods for 40 years. I just wanted to say that you do Amazing work !!!!
Came because of the giraffe but stayed due to the build quality. Know you probably didn’t have a huge plan on being a big CZcamsr but you’re nailing it sir. Thanks for bringing us along.
Kevin, you definetly deserve all the attention you and your channel have gotten. I for one plan on sticking around even after mullet is complete. Your builds and attention to detail are truly an inspiration to many. Keep on keepin on, brother.
Cleetus you are all over the country in this great month of Freedom!!! Having the time of your life. That is awesome. Kevin, you are doing some amazing work on the Mullet!
Let`s see how Cleetus handles this beast...... Amazing professionel Work Kevin..... Greetings to ALL team members of KSR......
Kevin is truly a master of his craft. His attention to detail falls second to none. Kevin is not only an outstanding builder fabricator, but also a great driver as we seen in Cleetus and Cars.
I smile when I think about the Christmas tree race and soccer mom
Most of us watch you because you teach things so we can understand, thank you
Cleat introduced me to your channel and now your my favorite CZcams channel
I know it’s Mullet el Camino build, but what I’m watching is The Kevin el Camino build. Thanks for sharing!
I have learned so much from this channel, and if anything I watch just to admire the professionalism and attention to detail of all the projects at KSR. Your shop is on another level with these videos.
I am so amazed at how beautiful she had come out. Way to go Kevin. Your so great at every detail. Just proves ocd isn't always a bad thing. Lol
Cletus is like an expectant father haha ... thanks for answering my question re the exhaust (previous video) with the current video... looks bloody sick Kevin!!... bring on the next build!!.. I will be watching!!
Kevin your vechile layout planning, attention to all those tiny details and future proofing the road ahead for your builds is astounding.
If everyone in the industry put 10% of the thought you put into your builds it's gonna be a bright future for all things fast......
Much respect from Australia
Ha ha ha ha hes a nerd, and a master of list! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’ll admit mullet brought me here but now you’re stuck with me. I’d watch you fix your lawn tractor at this point. Lol
Honestly would enjoy seeing seeing him make a LS lawnmower to compete with the grind hard 2j mower
It would be the smoothest running mower to ever be put on the dyno.
Same i love all things mechanical
@Patrick Simkin, THAT would be a fast click from me too haha
Amazing work! I love the fact that you're making a 6 second drag car that has the front end aerodynamics of a file cabinet.
Good Morning fellow gearheads! I can't wait to see this thing rip!!!
And while Cleet may have introduced us to you, you won all our hearts.
Perfect morning with Coffee getting ready for work! Thank you, Kevin and KSR shop for all that you do! Keep it up!
Even after mullet is done and gone, I will continue to watch your amazing work. Many will stay just for that alone.
Kevin you and your team are truly some great fabricators. I hope to have the pleasure to meet you all some day. Amazing work you all do.
Definitely staying around after mullet is done! Learned so much just listening, not to mention watching. Valuable information when I finally start my build.
The amount of work to finish off that last 5-10% is something else. Thanks for the uploads - keep them coming.
No matter if Cleetus related or not, any project you and your team work on is fantastic and with the same high quality
Kevin, all we can say is WOW!! In many of our minds when you say "there ya go Garrett, it is done,," the Freedom Factory El Camino will have NO PEER.
Hardest working man on CZcams! Can't wait to see this thing running 6s!
This car is by far the best looking car out of the whole fleet! This thing is badass! 🔥
Dedication to perfection,Cleetus is definately getting his moneys worth.
I have become a Faithful follower to this Channel . I will continue after Mullet is gone . I love Kevin's Professional work ethic and explanation of everything he does . Great Job . Keep the videos coming .
You got a lifelong fan here! Your fabrication and eye for detail is what makes me stick around! Ksr 4 life!
Considering that by your shop and videos, it appears your a one man or a few man crew, but your knowledge, craftsmanship & time spent to engineer, over engineer & over over engineer the simpliest details to make sure its RIGHT, fool proof & reliable, its unlike any other shop Ive walked through. You are a man of many talents, keep up the great work man!
Can't wait to your done with the El Camino That way we could see all your other projects come to life
Imagine how easy a technicians job would be if Kevin worked on the design team for a major manufacturer?? Its a joy watching someone work who's so passionate about what they do.
Most of us found you because of Cleetus but your work and videos speaks for its self and is why we all keep watching. Can’t wait to see future projects.
HELL YEAH BROTHER let's go another KSR video it's gonna be a great day
"this is kinda racing i guess" love this guy.
Watching you build THE dream G-body Elco while I build my dream G-body Elco has been such a rare privilege. Keep up the great work, you've given me motivation to wrench on many otherwise lazy days.
We just witnessed a work of art coming to life... KSR for the win
#winwithksr
truly a work of art so glad I got to be a part of a REAL build. I've helped friends but obviously not to this extent. so cool 😎
That being said! How are you not famous for you beyond show quality cars!!!!!!! Amazed
you're a likable guy kev! we came for freedom, stayed for good quality content, stay humble my friend
Yoooo!!! Was bored watching lame videos, had no hesitation switching to a ksr video.
Same
Cleetus may be what brought many of us here but your style is what keeps us here man. Youre a genius and its entertaining and helps many of us learn.
Seriously appreciate your humility and the precision of your work. Good things happen to good people. Keep it up!
I said it before and il say it again!!!! Kevin you are a master perfection-est. Lol how ever you spell it!!! The trans brake for reverse!!! You pay "major"attention to detail!!!! No one can ever say you take short cuts!!!!!! Seriously blown away!
I really love your attention to detail. Don't care if it's a customer car or your own. Your channel will continue to grow.
5:15 AM... Gah! You're so above and beyond, Kevin, it's amazing. Everything you do is amazing!
We’ve all had Builders block. Sometimes you just got to step away if you not productive. Including when it’s on somebody else is dime. Your doing a great job Kevin, and I might have to say that’s the meanest G-Body Elco I’ve ever seen.
OK I’ll admit it was Cletus is channel that got me here Kevin, but it’s your fabrication skills and attention to detail that keeps me coming back. That El Camino is stunning.
Kevin is a great guy, cleetus shows up and he just keeps on working! Great shop, one day I would be honored to have a KSR build in my garage.
Cleetus may have brought us to you, but you are a legend in your own right, Kevin! Glad i found the channel!
I hope the other build series will be as detailed as this one. No one is sick of the content!
Maybe the most anticipated dyno video in history!!!!
Mullet just opened the door to a great channel with a awesome fabricator can't wait for the next KSR MASTERPIECE 💯🇺🇸🔥✌✌
You are a very talented crew at KSR, can’t wait to see it on the strip.
I love that I can see all of your work before seeing cleeter get out there and do his thing. Love the channel and all your amazing work
You come up with some amazing ideas Kevin!! Even when you tinkered with Ruby and Leroy u always are amazing Cleetus with your attention to detail and your forward thought process! Great work bro!! Keep it up!
I’m going to comment on my other favorite build channels to “follow KSR” because being able to see your work is a treat.
Cleetus may have helped get you some subscribers on board, BUT, its you that has Retained us all...
I notice the fab block happens when simple things eat up most of your time and patience. Glad to see I'm not the only one that gets it. Excited to see all the other projects after the el camino!
Anyone else gonna wait for Kevin’s Dino video before watching cleets video. Just love the passion of loving what he does every day. I smile every time I hear “good morning everybody”
Can’t wait to see all your other builds coming up with mullet wrapping up. Thanks for all you do Kevin!
I've said it before cleetus brought your channel to my attention but I'm staying because of your workmanship and attention to detail. Not to mention you seem to be much more humble then some others making you more relatable
I love seeing the work that goes in to getting a car built, I don't care if it is a restoration, drag or track it is seeing the project so I will be staying with Kevin as he not only does a superb job he explains why things are done.
Not disappointed I have to wait for the dyno video, Mullet looks so mean with the front panels on, bloody beautiful job done, just goes to show how freaking great Kevin and team are at building race cars 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🦘
Yup. Came for mullet. Stayed because this is next level. This is years of fab work experience. I can't wait for the next build. Keep em coming.
I enjoy the time lapse they fit my attention span
Man that car looks amazing probably the best in the Cleeter fleet. A lot of talent went into this car and I'm glad to see it's not a forgotten project just collecting dust in the corner. A lot of car channels either get half way done with something then leave it sit or some finish and that's all you ever see of it.
8:52 every car guy's primal instinct at work
I cant wait too see the next project! I came for mullet and ended up learning something new from every video after that! Keep up the great work guys and keep teaching us younger generations new things!
gotta have some respect for the fact that you realize some of your views are coming over from his channel, BUT it’s amazing what you do with these cars. I don’t think any of us can quite understand the effort and time out into these builds and the precision that you’d putting into these builds. Keep up the good work we’d love to see more cars being built!
You made me get into fabbing again after a long break when i Lost My passion
Full respect.. came for mullet.. will stay to actually learn how things work and to watch one of drag racing’s smartest persons.. thanks for taking the time to educate us on the ways of a Jedi master
I love Kevin's videos. They're so satisfying to watch badass cars get built
The hard work is paying off. What a machine you and your guys have built. Well done, can't wait to see it ripping down the track
Excited to see this finish and the next project start up
I’ve definitely noticed that most videos with higher views are the ones with Mullet and Cleetus. Don’t change what you’re doing though man, I personally really enjoy seeing all of the little details you put into your builds. People who truly enjoy what goes into these things will stick around and watch your videos. Don’t let the view drops bother you at all.
