  • What is the difference between Ponte Vedra Beach and Ponte Vedra? Learn just some of the similarities and differences of these beach communities. As they are next to each other with similar names, they are often confused as being the same when in fact they are not. Ponte Vedra Beach is technically on an island requiring bridge access and Ponte Vedra is on the mainland of Florida and primarily divided by the Intracoastal Waterway. But...there is more than just location that sets them apart.. Check it out!

    Hi Tara,
Would you be interested in talking to someone who at first will be interested in renting (more likely a 2 bedroom condo or house) to find out if we really like the area enough to purchase a home on a later date. We will be in your area from 10/10 through 10/17.
We are beginning to research and will diligently work on learning as much as we can prior to our arrival. Marc & Edna

I would love to assist you. Feel free to give me a call or email me at TaraSellsPVB@gmaill.com. In the meantime, you can view rentals for Ponte Vedra Beach at www.Homesin32082.com or Ponte Vedra at www.HomesIn32081.com. They go quickly so we do not know what will be available in October. This will give you an idea of what is currently available. I have lived in both and look forward to assisting you. Have a great day! - Tara

Hello, could you tell me what the fees are in the communities? We are interested in a small single level home.

The CDD and HOA fees vary per community. Typically the more an individual neighbor offers, the higher the fees. Some have pools, tennis, parks, attended gates etc. The CDD fees vary on the size of the lot.CDD fees are broken up into 12 payments and attached to your mortgage payment. HOA fees will be paid directly by you when they are due. Feel free to give me a call and we can talk more about what you are looking for so you have a better idea of the fees.

Also, not ALL neighborhoods here in Florida have CDD and/or HOA fees.

It looks nice, but as you state, you can be a rock's throw from the beach and not able to access it, due to not owning a property literally on the beach. Good of you to explain that you can pay for various club memberships that can solve that. But all in all, it seems very expensive, compared to other "pure play" beach areas of your state, meaning, you just want warm weather and a life by the water. If you are rich, and play lots of golf, maybe it is just right. Thanks..
