Love vinyl sheets, wish there were more options out there.
You remind me of the guy that picked me up hitchhiking in Sandpoint Idaho in about 1999. I was going snowboarding and I saw the samples of click vinyl plank in your car. You said it was the future of Floorin.
Man, I seen some of these newer doublwides. I was amazed how real they looked!! I practically couldnt tell the difference in the wood look!! That's what they use in manufactered homes cause it looks like real wood or planks and it's cheaper too.if your floors are clean and etc... use the vynal sheeting. I would. 100% water proof too!!
I just love them.
I just had professionals put down some luxury sheet vinyl by Mannington for me three days ago and it’s odor is so strong it gives me a headache every day since😞
I am wondering if it's the glue? Is it still a problem? 😢
I was going to have this installed, is it still bad? Is it the flooring or the adhesive?
@@kcmaldonado3948 I got it installed back in November 23’ and it has gotten some better, but not completely gone. It is DEFINITELY 100% the flooring. We kept some extra pieces after it was installed and put them in our spare room and it stunk up the whole room. I had linoleum before vinyl and never had this issue. It definitely off gasses and humidity seems to make it worse. Thankfully even tho it stinks it is made in the US so it is not at a toxic level like something you could get from china which used to sell vinyl that was hazardous to your health.
Is it possible to install this over carpet? I dont like the plank options because I fear its nowhere close to the waterproofing I get from a continuous material.
Everything that I have seen has mentioned a subflooring of some sorts. There were some reasons such as you don't want to create a bubble of any sorts that can trap moisture and have mold build up underneath it.
I wish I could find these answers, is sheet vinyl like a plywood sheet or does come in a roll thats rolled out, what width does it come in, what length does it come in, can it put on top of boards???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Standard sheet vinyl is 12 ft wide and you can order as the length to your desire and it comes off of a large roll (can be laid over boards as long as it's a flat surface)
I'm so sick of looking at flooring I don't want to make these decisions again, but I'm going with sheet vinyl and not plank for minimal seams
I love sheet vinyl but I hate the busy designs, don't understand why they can't make calm light flooring, it's crazy so I won't buy.
