Imma have to disagree. I love my iPad mini and because of its size I take it with me everywhere. My only complaint is the battery life
Battery life is better than the 12.9 iPad Pro from my real world experiences
@@aquathecolorno way
@@Yoskio Way. I returned my iPad Pro and got the mini cause I wanted a smaller device and to save money. So I have experience with both. The iPad Pro 12.9 battery life is abysmal
@@aquathecolor i have the ipad pro M1 12.9 but i want to buy an ipad mini to make groceries but i thought the new generation of ipad mini was gonna come out today but nothing happened, i’m still deciding if get the mini 6 now or wait for the 7 to come out next year
I think the iPad mini is fine. The jelly scroll is really unnoticeable to me. The screen is fine and I’m quite happy with the mini.
I agree I just got my mini 2 weeks ago and I don’t notice the difference between my pro at all. I should have got the air 5 and saved money lol. Another reason I don’t mind is because it stays strictly in my purse so I only use it on the go lol
My ipad mini is my favorite Apple product. 😂 Jelly scroll happens on all the ipads if you look for it, just in the horizontal orientation on the other models.
Literally lol 😂 iPad pro is so noticeable how can he not see it?
He said that it doesn't bug normal people. Does that mean Sam is abnormal?????
@@sanjaybali1021 the mini is a great browser, media consumption devise for casual use. My guess is he tries to be productive on it. It’s a comfortable device for lounging on the couch .
@@jamesn7156 maybe but ipados man...
I respect that it’s not for you but personally I think it’s better than any iPhone Apple has ever released. I sold my iPhone in January and I’ve been rocking an Apple Watch Ultra and iPad mini for nearly 6 months now. I don’t own any phone. My watch is set up using family setup so it’s not paired to any iPhone. I use the watch for calls, texting and other simple tasks like using it as a car key, home app, music etc. this has also helped me separate my work and home life. I use to use my iPhone for work and it was also my phone so I ended up constantly being on my phone. Now this has helped me separate things and have a better balance and also break my screen addition. I owned the 14 pro max in January… yet I am now more than twice as productive via split screen on the iPad mini for $500 than I could ever be with then 1300 max. The iPad mini is essentially a folding phone that doesn’t fold for only $500. I can have two iPhone sized screens running multiple apps at once and also have Picture in Picture running at the same time in the for, factor that’s only slightly bigger than the massive phones people use now. Yes it’s not as portable as a foldable but I don’t need it to be. I don’t want a screen in the pocket that I’m addicted to. I’m happy to have that inconvenience so I’m not a slave to a phone just scrolling through videos all day. Also the Star light iPad mini matches the Apple ultras titanium perfectly. Not only that but the iPad mini is super durable! I have dropped it from high up in. Very hard surfaces and there isn’t even a scratch, and since starlight is the color of the bare metal I’d you do get any marks they won’t even be noticeable. Starlight is the best color Apple has ever released and the iPad mini. Is the only iPad I’ll ever own, it’s perfect.
Lol yeah as a pilot, I really wanted to get the iPad mini since its a perfect size for a cockpit of an airplane but because of the jellyscroll and not being 120hz, I went with the iPad Pro M2. I wish it was a tad bit smaller but it does work.
I have thought about getting an iPad mini 6 for a long time. I do think it is too expensive especially compared to the mini 5 which I have …. But I think it depends on your lifestyle, do you need a small portable device? Some people just don’t need a small iPad. I am waiting for the mini 7
This is your worst take 😂 iPad Mini has always been the BEST true tablet experience. You can easily type with your thumbs, it’s so portable and this model has the widest aspect ratio so aside from not being mini LED, it is actually the best for content consumption. Imprints happens on the iPad Pro’s and iPad Air too. Fyi, I have an iPad Pro 12.9” M1 also.
Totally agree! I'm a huge mini fan since 2gen. Already looking foward to 7gen!
THIS is his worst take? Have you seen his Twitter account? 😂
You’re Paying 800 bucks for that 60hz iPhone then you want the best screen for 499?
My Mini 6 is by far my favorite Apple Product! ❤
Totally agree with you, what I can't stand is that Apple just stuffed the UI of the large iPad directly into the mini without making any adjustments at all. Even now that the screen ratio of the iPad mini is more like 16:9, the design of the main screen is obviously prepared for 4:3. Apple thinks so little about the iPad mini that they seem to be happy with how much the iPad mini is selling, when in fact it could be selling even more. At least once they improve, I'll give them an extra sale.
I have the M1 Air and my wife uses the Mini 6. She loves it. She uses it daily for reading, news, workouts on the treadmill and some gaming. But the biggest thing she uses it for is talking to her sisters. She will get on FaceTime with that 8.3” screen and just wear that battery out. Lol. I’ve seen her go through 40% battery on a single FaceTime call. She also uses it with the pencil to sign documents via docusign on days she works from home. In all honesty if they put an M2 in the Mini 7 I’m gonna snap one up. So quit hating Boss Baby. 😂
I just got a new mini 6 and I have noticed that the CZcams buttons don’t work very well near the edges and corners, like when I tap on the “x” and < when closing the windows, is this the case with yours too?
Wow-Very honest and straightforward video Sam-I know how much you hate the iPad mini but still appreciate how you clearly and honestly you made your points in your video-Personally I think the iPad mini as a concept is great and if you see some older iPad minis that created they are pretty good for when they were released but I understand your points for this new iPad mini version-Really hope fixes these soon-Thanks So much Sam-Keep up the high quality informative videos!
I was going to get the larger ipad from Apple's confusing lineup (e.g. some don't allow new apple pencil etc) for the display but iPad mini is the best iPad for my many needs. I used it for editing and transmitting photos on deadline and it is superb. Maybe it's not the best screen or fastest processor but the size and performance are incredible especially since I can transfer RAW images or large JPEGS very quickly from camera to iPad via USB-C! On iPhone 14 Pro Max and lame USB 2 lightning ports that would take forever. The iPad mini also compliments my Macbook 14" and iPhone 14 Pro Max as the screen is great for portable editing including video with VIDEOLEAP app. I love how I can easily fit this in a jacket pocket, belt pouch or iPad sleeve in backpack. I speak for many that if apple eventually updates this iPad display and processor many fans will buy it. Had to handle relative's 12" iPad and that thing is a brick. Love my iPad mini even two years on.
I had the iPad mini 2 many moons ago and I absolutely loved it. I love the form factor and having the full iPad experience in a much more portable form factor. I currently own the Air 5 but if the mini had the M1 that my Air has, I’d buy it. I do think it’s entirely too expensive though. I think the original $329 price the iPad mini was a good starting point. $499 is a tough sell unless you really want an iPad but also really value portability.
£659 in the UK😢but admittedly that's tax included
I actually love the jelly roll on my iPad Mini 6. It reminds me of Ubuntu back when they implemented it decades ago.
I have several iPads: I love my 12.9" iPad Pro. It's my workhorse.👍
And my mid-sized10.2" is for travel, but seldom do I find any use for my iPad mini. It's a sweet device but the Mini just doesn't fill any void. It's a freak and odd-ball.
Thank you Apple Track for another great video! 🌿
To keep this as unbiased as possible, I bought my iPad mini for a purpose. A perfect size and weight to accomplish tasks that I need to do (suffer the net, update excel sheets, monitor financials, read the news) an that’s it. I didn’t want to over spend on things that I will never use or could care less about. It solved a problem, with minimum cost and size. My own personal opinion, I hate faceid and if I could get a phone with no camera…..(front and back) I would do it. I miss Touch ID on my 11 mini.
hqve you tried ipados 17 on this mini ipad??
I love my Mini. Perfect size for me to carry with me. I’d like to see an iPad mini pro and mini air. That way we have two price points for those of us who buy by size and price and have no idea what the features are.
I sold mine when I realized it was not getting stage manager, and I was very mad since it would be the perfect iPad to have this feature. And also I hated how everything was not optimized for the screen. It felt like an iPhone pro max because of that.
How is the smallest iPad the perfect one to use stage manager??
@@Workingfilms with a monitor*. It’s then become a little Mac and powerful enough for basic task, like browsing, text etc. I would love to have that on an iPhone too. If only
I can't wait to hear the other Genius Bar Podcaster, @jon_prosser, give his thoughts on this video. . . .
@@thegrayman19 @jon_prosser is loves the "Poor people iPad" but not the "Poor people iPhone (Standard or Baseline iPhone devices)" 💀
They should get Drew from Tailosive Tech on this podcast because we all know how Drew feels about the iPad mini.
Hahahaha it’s gonna be fun, I know Sam is doing it on purpose lol
How about the other ipads? Why don’t they jelly scroll when used in landscape?
You’re looking at it wrong. This product is for the casual user who when they get home, they can grab it and casually view social media, watch videos, read articles, look at recipes all without it being huge and difficult to carry around.
I simply love my iPad Mini! It was loe at first sight since its 2gen.
Looking foward for the gen 7.
I kinda agree with you here. I always thought of the ipad mini as a replacement of the ipod touch. It might be a lot better as a bigger ipod touch than a smaller ipad
So the jelly effect still bothering eh. I’m planning to get one just for reading mostly. But almost no one who give latest thought on the iPad mini talking about it anymore. I really want to have an iPad mini because I always read while lying down and iPad Air is haevy to do so.
I love my iPad mini despite also having 12.9 inch m1 version too. Despite my obvious partiality towards the mini, I agree with all your points (except the jelly scrolling issue)
Bad build quality *check*
Bad for note taking *check*
Badly scaled software *check*
One point that you missed - inability to lock the screen while using it with an external monitor.
I know this applies to all iPads but I feel this feature is more needed in a device that is smaller in size.
Is It true that iPad mini doesnt have "palm rejection" while writting notes?
it is not true !
Finally replaced my mini 5 with the 6 and haven't regretted it at all. Jelly Scrolling is there, but once I actually used the device in the real world I never actually notice it. It's my most used device except for my gaming PC
I would buy a mini Pro instantly
iPad Mini is mini. That’s its key feature, and it’s why I like it. If the size doesn’t sell you, don’t buy it
My ideal would be an iPad Pro Mini. That would draw out the form factor’s max potential. ProMotion, FaceID, T4 port, real external display support, FCP and Logic support, maybe an OLED display. Easily worth $800 for me, immediate buy over the 11” Pro
Logic works on the Mini 6.
Setting the content aside for a second, just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the choice of backdrop for this video; much less distracting, cleaner and it helps get your point accross. Also, the minimal single-colour goes well with the design clothing. Not sure if this was a one-off thing but I'd say bring it to the rest of the videos. Keep in up!
I really like the size of the Mini 6 but you are 100% right about the poor quality of the display. On release day I noticed the jelly scroll immediately out of the box and I hadn't even read about it. Apple needs to improve this and bring out the Mini 7 asap. Also add some pin connectors so we can have keyboards etc.
I got rid of my iPhone and replaced it with an Apple Watch Ultra because my screen time was too high. The iPad Mini is invaluable to me for things such as banking and airline apps that you are required to use now because certain features cannot be accessed on a desktop. Not to mention note taking and drawing is way nicer compared to an iPad Pro which I found too bulky to comfortably handle. Also, there is just something about the form factor the prevents doomscrolling in the way a phone does not.
How are you able to use the Ultra with no iPhone?
it has its own cellular connection @evilphuk
Just brought a regular iPad model a few weeks back but it works very well so 10/10
I’ve had the iPad mini 6 since it launched and use it everyday. It’s been wonderful to use daily since 2021. Hope the next generation is OLED 🤞🏽
can we get a review on the Macbook Air 15" please and thank you😊
I use an S23U as a replacement for an iPad. Best display out there and the perfect size for my use case. Much bigger than my iphone but not full on tablet sized as that would be cumbersome.
I love it for the form factor, outside of that, I completely agree. I think this became an iPhone mini situation, the niche group that wanted the small size got a really really ok product, everyone else just shook their heads and got an air or pro. I still love it for the size but want a mini pro, meaning the better display, I’d scoop it right up.
Yes, a pro mini would be great.
Me just want an ipad mini pro, the screen does suck, and dont get me started about the bezels
I don't know why, I've never seen the jelly scroll, and I absolutely love note taking on the Mini. iPad OS isn't able to do as much on the Mini as it can on larger screens, and maybe Apple could fix it. But I bought it knowing it was tiny, so anything it can't do is on me.
I use it to take notes. It makes a reasonable second display for my MacBook when I need one. I watch CZcams videos and other content, read The NY Times and an occasional book, and basically everything that I don't require a giant screen for. Sure, it could be better, but it's just fine for me.
Ha! Been waiting forever for this video!
Great job Sam, you made a lot of fair points… I still like the iPad mini, but it definitely isn’t my choice of iPad. 12.9” Pro M2 all the way!
You nailed it Sam! I keep watching everything telling me I need one, I should have one. I had one, ditto of an experience for me.
I’ve seen medics use it to explain things to patients, or look up formulae’s/meds. It fits perfectly in their gowns. I really want one when the 7 comes out so I can get cheaper 6.
Got the iPad mini not too long ago and honestly, it was pretty great for keeping me entertained. Bummer part is, I ended up losing it on a flight back from Japan. Even though it was a short time, it did make my digital world a bit more fun. Overall rating 5/10
The mini is fantastic. It was made for work environments and pilots. I don’t want to carry around a massive iPad.
Gave mine back in under a fortnight. Battery life sucked. Maxed out at 256gb which is a quarter of my phone’s capacity and finally couldn’t edit off an SSD with thunderbolt. I’m not the target market perhaps, but I love the 11 inch pro.
I have 3 iPad mini’s in my house and I love them. I use mine for work I use it to fulfill phone orders. My wife uses hers for games and everyday use. My son is autistic and nonverbal he uses his as a AAC device to communicate with us. I have zero complaints with the iPad mini it does everything I want it to do. The only thing I wish I did different was get mine in cellular so I could do orders on the go.
I see your points for sure, they haven't maintained the component/UI quality across the whole iPad product line. I think and hope the next iPad mini will be great. I'm sure at that time you'll like it and will make a new video which is cool. But I'm with you, the quality should be uniform. I feel the same about this as the 1 nand situation on binned Macbook's.
The size! Brilliant for notetaking. I'm a teacher and can hold it in my hand, no prob. My old 11" feels soooo huge now (and heavy).
I enjoy mine, but I wish it had screen brightness of 12.9 pro model for when outside. overpriced for features
I think the problem is that you’re not in the target demographic for the iPad mini. The iPad mini is aimed people for whom space is a premium. Take pilots for example they need to use iPad apps but they don’t have enough space for a large iPad Pro or even a 9.7 inch iPad so the mini takes the cake. In a situation like that phones are just too small.
I think its my favorite apple iOS/iPadOS device ... BUT I get your point ... I see more the iPad mini as a future foldable iPhone. It's meant to be that for its size.
I like my iPad mini and would go as far as saying I almost love it and feel you just helped uncover why I don’t love it which was intriguing.
I prefer Touch ID over face. But the jelly roll and ios you pointed out was intriguing.
It does drive me nuts how apple can do so much with a product but drags things out until we’re dying for the upgrade.
Thanks a lot for saving me bro 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I was on leave today to go to Apple Store to purchase ipad mini & God gave me correct notification early morning when I woke up 🙏🏻.
I will wait for the next new version of iPad mini now😊
For a person who has a Macbook/laptop and an iPhone/android. The iPad mini is often THE BEST additional pickup. Not too big where it's uncomfortable like the regular cheaper iPad (in which case i'd rather use my 13-inch macbook); not too small where you would just rather use ur phone for watching / reading.
It's the perfect middle ground for most people. You were right about you not being it's target demographic, cuz you sounded like you have every apple products at ur fingertips.
There would be an outrage if Apple discontinue the iPad mini line up. I can't really say the same for the ipad air or pro.
Nice comment bait bro (:
I’m a server that works on a giant patio, we’ve implemented our POS into these iPad minis so we can send orders from the table on a patio that’s almost 50 meters away from the main restaurant front door (farthest point, anyway). These iPads are good for business purposes in that sort!
Never owned one bc it’s too small for me n I paid the same price for my iPad Pro refurbished from Walmart 3 half years ago n I haven’t had any problems with it since I bought it n now I can’t even go back to the iOS public beta on it either bc I’m don’t want to go through what I’ve gone through with my phone on my iPad Pro 10.5 n I want to upgrade my iPad Pro soon
Im really confused about this ipad...i like to buy it but im not sure this is the right time...
I love the iPad mini. I want one once they put in M1/2 chip in it. Plus I have 4 kids in which this is perfect for games and video since they hold there current 8th gen iPads in landscape mode all the time. I PRAY that in Sept they update to the M1/2 chips and lower the price. 349/399/449$ would be great. Buying 4 of them for the kids next year with tax return refund lol. Maybe one for myself if they make a product Red one.
IPad mini 6 is my outdoor iPad, while my iPad Pro 12’9 stay at home. I love both devices equally. I have Apple Pencil. So I’m holding it horizontally all the time. With sample pencil, there’s no grip to hold it.
Just got the iPad Mini 6 and really like it.
It’s finally out!!
I’ve loved the debate between Sam and Jon about the iPad mini for years and I finally gave it a try and I love it!
I have both an M1 12.9” pro (personal) and mini (work issued) and honestly have been reaching the the mini more than my pro a lot of the time. I had grown so used to the huge iPad that the mini feels so refreshing. The mini is definitely limited in terms of tasks that benefit from a ton of screen but for other things like emailing, browsing the web, Twitter, it is awesome. I definitely see Sam’s argument that the specs could be better but I think they absolutely nailed the form factor. Having used both I do agree that Face ID would be better.
I hope is watching about the OS part. The reason I returned mine was not only because of the lack of memory but also how low the brightness was on the bus.
My only issue when I had the mini was the bezels & how small the device was, compare the mini 5.
Its so hard to hold the mini 6 without touching things accidentally.
I hope the body gets bigger & they make the bezels alot smaller giving it a 9” display. I dont want the camera moved.
It should have fave id imo as the touch id is super annoying on the ipads.
Just make it a big iPhone 15. Also if the body was bigger they could incorporate an apple pencil area. Its the only ipad thats great that doesnt have apple pencil 2 charging. Make an ipad mini apple pencil. Make a smart keyboard for it. Its gets so little love.
Seriously thinking of buying a mini at the moment. My fiancé has an Air which I got him for our anniversary because he does some light fashion design work. I just want it as an ereader not locked to any certain market (*cough Kindle) with maybe some light doodling. If I want to do anything work-intensive, that's what my MacBook is for; ideally I want something in between.
Then get a fire tablet for 50 bucks LOL
As far as the whole iPad isn’t a computer, well you’re right. It wasn’t designed to be one, and although Apple has introduced multitasking features to the iPad lineup most people expect to use it for lighter tasks and do things that their phone isn’t capable of, like taking notes with an Apple Pencil. Most people are aware of this, and to expect a computer experience out of it is kind of silly. I have a desktop to do computer stuff, and it works fine, but just as I don’t expect to take it everywhere I don’t expect my iPad to have desktop capabilities. Straight up
He hates the iPad mini, and he hates the iPhone mini. Sam really has the opposite preferences for Apple products compared to me lol
This video just doesn't make sense. The jelly scroll is indeed a bit annoying, but it's still a way better display than both budget iPads. iPadOS is indeed a mess these days, but it doesn't make the iPad Mini worse, it just makes all iPads jank. The build quality is actually better than the Air. The Air 5 has some creaking noises with the aluminum chassis, which the Mini doesn't have. The screen build quality thing you mentioned when you press on it happens on literally all iPads currently offered by Apple, it's been going on since they laminated the display on the iPad Air 2.
I love my old 2010 Mac book pro, but hate the ipad and iphone with a passion.
Hey Sam I get it I appreciate your update 😊❤ this n can you please help me out on how to get back to the iOS 16.5 public beta bc my phone has been crazy since I tried to go back n but my problem is that one button is turned on n one button is turned off n it’s not letting me go back
I actually bought one for me got my mom the air first and she actually liked the mini more once I upgraded her to it
Reason I haven’t bought an iPad Mini is because it’s neither fish nor fowl. It has an A processor in it but it can’t be used as a conventional phone. If it’s an actual iPad the latest version should have at least had an M1 in it.
/////////I *HATE* how apple implemented face id … it's completely backwards
I want active consent to activate anything, a password will do for that. Me being passively present doesn't imply consent! I want it to recognize me and only accept my password when it sees me, and keep it open as long a it sees my face…. I want it to close and lock when it fails to see my face for some number of seconds I can set OR when it sees a face but it's not mine… is that too much to ask?
If they made an iPad Pro Mini, I would instantly buy it lmao
Not for everyone, but small and useful for navigation and related uses.
I totally agree. I resell it and got the ipad pro instead.
Waw, it finally dropped, the infamous iPad mini video. Well done, Sam, u did itttttt 😅
I use my mini more than my 12.9 pro tbh. Especially when I travel and lay in bed. I use my pro mainly for photo editing.
Total agree with your comments, it’s £ 569.00 in uk. I’ve got iPad mini 5 and didn’t upgrade because didn’t it was worth it. Love your joke about calling iPad Air for pilots haha
Agree with the other pilots - Foreflight on iPad mini with the radio for the phone - it is essential. Pair it with a Sentry for ADSB - > it is something I don't fly without. Moreover, the standard-size iPad is too big for a yoke mount for a small plane like a Piper Warrior or a Cessna For those who aren't pilots, I realize this is from another CZcams channel, but this will explain how this is perfect for small planes : czcams.com/video/Mrx7RAlEbQE/video.html
I was there when the pilot told you the iPad mini is good for flying lol I was standing right behind him 😅 So I can vouch that you’re not lying! Also hard disagree on the idea that it should run iOS lol I kind of like that they gave it iPad OS. But I see where you’re coming from
Just like the iPhone mini they don’t give it the pro features I want an iPad mini and iPhone mini but they aren’t on equal ground.
So basically you want it to be the new iPod Touch. I love my mini I take it every where with me. It allows me to have a normal sized phone instead of the max version. It easily fits in a backpack or satchel.
Agreed!
I bought one, my first launch day Apple product. The whole thing is just not a good package. I think at least 120hz would have made it better.
I love my iPad Mini and have never noticed the jelly scroll….
I use my mini 6 more than my iPad Pro 12.9. It’s more portable and does everything just fine. Jelly scroll is only noticeable if someone points it out to you. I’ve yet to see it. Display is no different than the other iPads except the pro 12.9. Love the mini.
Phone & tablet size has disproportionately risen over the last decade, when they were always originally intended to be small, the iPhone mini 13 & the iPad mini 6 are the perfect combination of fully functioning lightweight powerful products in a compact portable format for easy everyday use, horrendously expensive yes but totally unique & niche. I don’t need a phone the size of a house brick or a 13inch tablet when I can use my laptop, smaller devices I can use with one hand that fit safely in my coat pocket are what’s key for me.
I tried it for a month and did not like it. I much prefer my m2 iPad Pro 12.9. I personally did not like the screen and the the 60hz was a pain and battery life kinda sucked. I’d be willing to buy the next gen mini if apple puts a better display in it and includes 120hz and improves the battery a bit. Has potential but right now it kinda sucks.
My guy, how hard are you pressing on your ipad? I've thoroughly enjoyed my use of the ipad mini as a teacher that needs a small ipad to take around for tasks at the school. It's hard to believe you want to "persuade everyone to not buy this ipad".
I agree to disagree. You make some valid points. I love the size for travel. I would love better software integration.
I can't agree with you. Jelly scrolling? I never noticed it.
I think that iPad OS is good on the iPad mini. I don't think it's good idea to put iOS on it.
The only issue is battery life.
And I'd like to get whatever apps I want from outside the App Store
use it too read book 🤦🏽♂ and 🤫
My only complaint for this iPad is the keyboard ⌨️ layout in landscape. It literally takes up half the screen. Seems like there’s an easy fix for that.
I sold my 2018 ipad pro for a mini 6th gen…. Thought i woud really like the smaller size. Not even a year later now… i traded the mini for a ipad pro m2. Soooo much better and dont really need a small ipad when i have my phone. The screen was probably the biggest let down.
Watching this on my beautiful handsome iPad mini
Ive watched it on my iPad mini 2 🎉still running strong after round about 10 years
I have the Mini 6 and am considering with the new models releasing in Sept, should I change to an iPad Air or Pro. I love the portability of it, but I always feel a bigger screen would be better.
Problem is, I feel Apple has forgotten what a tablet is really meant to be - not a replacement for a laptop, but a super portable device for more casual things like emailing, CZcams, gaming, streaming, taking notes etc, tasks that work so much better than on the iPhone. So any iPad should have 3 features - an amazing display, super light and portable, and banging specs. So why doesn’t Apple just release a basic and Pro version of iPads, with respectively the same specs, each in 3 or 4 sizes starting at 9 inches, with all those features? The iPad Air, with the magic keyboard, is like 1.2 kg which is so not portable unless you’re very strong lol. The iPad Mini has the shitty screen and I feel the size is too small.
So I’m really torn about which iPad to get this September. Torn. I think if they give the Mini 7 a 120hz display and the A17 chip I’ll get it.
Can you show me where you found September as the release date for the new mini?
@@olivedrab all the leaks and these CZcams vids have been predicting September release
I like the iPad mini but not the newest version as the jelly scroll is on the newer version
I enjoy your videos so much, Sam but I truly don’t get this. I have the M2 iPad Pro, and am commenting on my Mini 6. I guess a nicer screen would be a bonus, but the one it has seems satisfactory to me. Logic Pro works in the Mini 6, btw. I know it’s unthinkable to some, but I use it on this device when I am out and about. Then if I’ve created something I like, work on it more at home. It’s what I go to, I guess the way some people amuse themselves looking at TikTok or whatever. Putting iOS on it would take that from me. My biggest worry about the Mini is that Apple would ever stop making them.
I liked my iPad mini a lot. Until i got my 14" MacBook.
I still think its good:
1) I always use my iPad Mini in Landscape mode
2) Im not sure what you mean by that. Sure the buttons are small and i miss them here or there myself - but thats also true for my iPhone 13 Mini. It could be better, but its nothing i notice really. I never used multitasking on iPad, because iPads are not Computers until they get MacOS. No Stage Manager does not count - it sucks on both.
3) Yeah kinda... it feels too light to me, in also comparing it to the bigger ones. But they feel way heavier comparatively
I get it, but im happy the Mini exists.
