@@Joyce26B Places in Europe are closer and have more options for travel. When you have more options that is usually when prices are lower due to competitive pricing. Africa isn't there yet but will get there once more business investment arrives. However you have remember that the continent is bigger than Europe so cities aren't as close to each other so that effects pricing also

When do you think Ghana or Nigeria will help a airline to make international flights? I really hate layovers. One of the reasons I decided to visit Tanzania, Morocco and Egypt. Egypt and Morocco have their own airlines they make international flights from JFK airport. Straight flights to Casablanca and Cairo. Even Kenya airlines took me to Nairobi. I could take a hour local flight to Tanzania.
