I plan on getting some Borea BR02's and eventually having them in a 3.1 setup, you say that these speakers in a 5.1 setup are forgiving for people sitting in different spots on the couch, do you think you would say the same in 3.1 with these speakers? We also have a second couch off to the right so I am a tad concerned that it might sound muffled for them but am hoping that with enough toe in it might fix that.
Great Review. I've been looking at these as either 2 channel tower for music, or with the added center, surrounds and sub for a 5.1. So they are not bright? I don't like overly bright but if I have to pick between bright or warm, bright is okay, especially because my amp is on the warmer side and can roll off any "bright" tweeter.
How far out from the wall did you have the Towers Br8? I think I can spare about 12 to 15". What do you think of the SVS Pinnacle? The Martin Logan Motion 40i?

I got the BR03 for like $250. One of them was in kind of bad condition. But still I saved $300. They sound amazing for that price. I honestly wouldn't pay more than $400 though.

DMS, what's the best sounding closed back headpones? I think the ZMF VC is nice but it kinda looks weird on the head -- I have a loud mechanical keyboard and am in calls a LOT, so I can't do open backs unfortunately. Stellia / 820 / something else?

GL2000 update?
Apparently DMS says they sound like tin cans according to zeos today....so its looking very bad 👎 which I'm very upset about because I'm waiting for my pair and I was really looking forward to it
@@theodorezurla496 Interesting, that sounds exceptionally harsh. Even if they aren't quite what zeos hyped them to be(which I'm sure is the case), I feel like there are way too many people that don't hate them for them to be bad. Like I think that if resolve can still find them alright, perhaps tin cans is an over exaggeration. I haven't heard them though so until I get my pair only time will tell.

Yes. European speakers in general are voiced that way. Love hate relationship with them. Probably not good for all forms of rock.
DMS, There is someone saying you said GL2000 sound like tin trash cans.... whats going on? Multiple people say the Gl2000 is competitor and better in some areas than arya's.
It's not good. Almost everyone I've spoken to regrets buying it. I'll explain in the review.

??? there are multiple reviews that say otherwise, and people commenting in those reviews that confirm, some people say there are on par with arya's.. more than couple...
@@tonydillinger2553 there’s also a good number of people who have reviewed it with bad results. It truthfully sounds about as bad as it measures. Hollow, broken, cheap, and outperformed by many many headphones half the price or less. It doesn’t compete with Sundara, let alone Arya. Just another hype-train everyone will forget about in a few months.
