I love getting up late on a Sunday and finding a new Citizen review on CZcams! Not typically a fan of the loud look of Cyrusher ebikes, but I do like the looks of this one. And it's Mrs. Citizen approved, too! Great video, thanks!

Thanks for your great reviews. I am in the market for 2 of this size bike, but the deal breaker on this bike for me is the small 14AH battery and the multiple comments on other review sites about pedal strikes when turning.

Love the low seat height and the step thru. The Cyrusher colors are usually too "young" for me, but I looked at the white version on their webpage and it looked pretty muted..definately something I would consider. thanks so much for the vid !

you hit me where it hurts,
My Himi Cruiser is My personal benchmark, when I did my research Himiway was really the best value in e-bikes IMHO.
but also knowing that the market for alternative transportation is a driving market, you have reviewed a few bikes that
I thought "Yeah, maybe if I were buying now" but,,,, this is a "trade in to get" bike,
Good video, My Compliments to Mrs. Citizen, it's nice having a partner who will get involved in our hobbies and silliness.

That's a very unique step-through e-bike! I think that's a fair price for what you're getting. Absolutely love the suspension and huge rear rack. So many 20" wheeled step-through models only come with a 500 watt motor, so I also appreciate the 750 watts. That's got to be a big seller for Cyrusher! Great vid. I may use a little Locktite on those bars. The display and the grips are cool. I think folding pegs are always a good idea, helping you to squeeze the bike into wherever you store it.

This style of bike is definitely a practical & good looking bike. The way the rear suspension is near the ones legs is seemingly going to be a problem with is constantly hitting our legs on it, and or even being pinched by the suspension. 😲 The way it is so exposed doesn’t seem to hot too. If only they had provided, or done from the beginning in covering that part with a thin cover easily removable if you ever need to have it serviced, or want to replace it for whatever reason.

Another great video thank you citizen, I think that would be a great bike for the price if it had at least a 16 or 17 .5 amp hour battery. I think for $2,400 it should have a way bigger battery, that is the same price as the Ariel Rider

Purchased Cyrusher Kommoda, arrived a few days ago and have started to look it over . Noticed some things not covered in your or any other review.
I have owned a few similar bikes and one thing I find need changing is the free wheel from the 14 tooth to a 11 tooth gear set. This Cyrusher Kommoda has the motor (Bafang?) power input on the on the left (opposite) side of all Bafang motors I have owned before. Power input does not run through a fastener. Seems to be a very interesting design change that is not
    compatible with pervious motors?

I have a step through folding bike that I am enjoying, but am in the market for a second/backup one. Considering buying a second one from same company because to be honest, I like the battery and motor size, and if I wanted to get up to 35 miles per hour, it's nice to know that I can. This new cyrusher caught my eye instantly, but to my disappointment, the battery and motor were not as big as I prefer or am used to. I don't know why it's so difficult to find an e-bike with a slightly bigger-than-average battery and motor. My bike has a 1,500 w motor and a 52 volt 28 amp battery. It is $2,300 currently. If this cyrusher had a bigger motor and bigger battery (mostly for range), I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Was considering getting the new grizzly. 34 miles per hour max, and the range is quite extended, but it just seems to have too much on it, and weighs quite a bit. Range is important to have on any e-bike. So, yeah, I think I'm going to just end up buying a second one from the same company. This cyrusher, though, looks really nice, and I like the features. Again, just wish battery and motor were a bit bigger. Great video, by the way, and all your other videos as well. You are thorough in explaining the specs on these bikes, plus your test runs. Awesome job, my friend! Thank you!!!

You didn't do much homework. But the back light is left over from the XF770 and if you look it has turn signals . They don't work on this bike but they are there . Now on the XF 770 they work . I also disagree about the seat . It sucks . And the handle bars are really short . To short for mirrors I had to put longer handlebars on it . Also the back shock is real crap if you're over 250 lb . They had to send me a shock from the XF800 . I also have the XF800 and over all it's a good bike. It also has a crap seat and short handle bars . That I had to change and the kickstand fell apart in a week . That's on the XF800 . The kickstand on this bike is really good and adjustable. One last thing . It would have been cool if they had it in red like the XF800 . Awesome color of red .

The guys over at Area 13 former Bolton mentioned, that there is a problem with pedeal strikes as the rear supension is so soft, that it sinks to far in just by sitting on the bike. He is definitly heavier than you, but I think, it's worth mentioning. So heavier riders, be warned that this might not work for you.

Hi Citizen, the bike looks awesome, great video. However there is one thing I would really love if you talked about more in these reviews and that is the Kadence and how the motor responds to the riders input. such as, is there a delay or not, does the motor just try to maintain a given speed for what ever pedal assist you are on, does the motor go all out when the assist kicks in or just a given percent based on the assist level. that sort of thing is always really nice to know. either way keep up the good work.

I keep mine on PAS 3 and it is the sweet spot for these bikes--i also keep the gear in 6th out of 7th.You can lightly pedal and keep 12 to 18 MPH depending on terrain and also get at least 40 miles plus or more depending on how you pedal.I have ridden a few of these and they are all similiar with bafang 750 motors--if you are a new rider you might want to keep it at 2 so you do not goto fast until you learn to ride--plus the power is literally at your fingertip and you can just blip the throttle to get up a hill or incline or a trail or tall grass.I also have vids on mine--I turned mine into a dual drive bike and love it.One thing though is I also went and electronically turned my governor off on mine to get the max power--it made the bike less jerky to drive to me.
