As a person who never played a Fallout game, the TV series is excellent. Really enjoyed it and look forward to season 2.

Me being a bit of a fallout geek as well, Gulpers were introduced in fallout 4's DLC "far Harbor". It might be possible to get mixed up with the Geckos and fire geckos you find in California/Mohave from Fallout 1, 2, and new vegas.
Or maybe they are thinking the Wanamingos in the sewer level of Fallout 2 which look sort of similar.
@@Dubstyles84 Also true. I never could get a good look at those in the isometric game lol.
Lucy is such a great example a player character in the show. Never mind actually getting her armored vault suit and 10mm in these episodes. But her asking people questions constantly and greeting each NPC she passes even if they don't respond was some very fallout style moments for me.

Part of me thinks the anti feral drug is extracted from ghouls, as coop goes right for the other guys spine, in hind sight from what you guys notices i think the but jerky was more of a cover/side quest.
Also i think all of the prisoners in the supa dupa mart are ghouls which is what kind made me really think it came out of ghouls.
And i'm pretty sure coop filled his canteen from the same water lucy was drinking.
And finally lucy leaves the supa dupa mart with effectively a amoured vault suit which was a nice reference.
Been really enjoying this series (and the Fallout series) I have spread out the episodes so as to not binge the entire season in one sitting. Looking for to Ash & Jay's thoughts on how it will progress to season 2 and any spinoff possibilities.
Enjoying you two's takes on the series. I binge watched a few weeks ago. I really loved it. Playing through New Vegas ATM and taking it slow to enjoy every Iguana bite with a Sunset Sasparilla. I think he ate his liver to try and consume any of the residual drugs in the other ghoul.
I'm excited to hear what you think when you find out what Iguana bites are actually made of. The fun fact is there are no iguanas in the Fallout games.
I’m one of the guys that never played, and will never play (don’t own a way to play) the games. This show was fantastic and I can’t wait for the next season.

There's a blink and you'll miss it Mr Handy in the pre-war party scenes with Cooper during the first episode. Just hanging out in the kitchen but no-one interacts with it/it doesn't say anything I think.
It says “Ready to be of service madam”
'What's in the bag?' was 'What's in the box?' all along.
The voice actor for the Mr Handy, and we do hear and see one briefly at the birthday party, is Matt Berry. It’s not the same voice actor from the games
Stephen Russell voiced it in the games.

The hell that Lucy gets put through is what makes her a well-written character. As opposed to, say, Rey from Star Wars. Which is to say, Lucy isn’t a Mary Sue.
There’s the sniping scene in The Last of Us when Joel is shooting zombies to protect Ellie that is super video gamey.
Please do a wasteland warfare campaign with Homestead and Into the Wasteland.
Definitely some kind of campaign play coming...
It's interesting. I find Maximus to be the least likable character. A very realistic character but he's just a coward who wants to survive and is willing to sell anyone to do it is the vibe I get.
I totally get what you're saying, but I think it's a bit of a nature vs nurture things that we get more insight into in an upcoming episode.
