Story 2 sounds like she was emotionally cheating and even said she wouldn't change so good riddance to that trash

These stories are very alien to me. Never been in a relationship, so experience stands at zero. Makes me wonder if it is worth it? Extreme highs and crushing lows. It just doesn't sound good overall.

In a good relationship, it's an extreme high, and then it evens out into something a lot more normal, missing out the crushing lows. It's like starting a hobby, and it becomes your entire personality for a short while - you buy the equipment, you study up, you talk about it a lot - and then the shininess wears off. But you still do the hobby, and you still enjoy it, it just hasn't got that exciting and new element to it anymore.
That's a good relationship. When you start, it's so exciting and whirlwind and butterflies in the stomach. But then it settles and you're just rooming with a bestie you occasionally f*ck. It's pretty easygoing, but you need to maintain it, like any other relationship really.
In these stories, most of these people either craved the high of the honeymoon phase too much to see what they had, or they let the bullsh*t of life get in the way of what they had. That's when the break ups and crushing lows happen, because they realise they just threw away their best friend for no real reason. It's always important to remember what you have.

@@gokuxsephiroth4505 Good way to put it in a way I can understand, as a hobbyist.

2nd story.....dude sounds like he has codependency issues and viewed the relationship as his only chance at real happiness. He's got issues.

That first story is sounding a little familiar... 😭

I need to correct you on one thing.
Its not: "What doesn't kill you it only makes you stronger." Its: "What doesn't Kill you, It's not trying hard enough."

I think ANY relationship has potential for hurt and regret. Make it a learning experience to narrow down your parameters. That's life.🙃

2nd story is way too long. The second half could be skipped

She’s been with too many people biologically she can’t “love” again.
