Be very careful people, whilst the development is nice you have to do one piece of driving to get there. Way up high in the mango valley hills with mash up roads. No sign posts I just kept driving hoping I’d find it. No local amenities mean a car is necessary so consider this also
This is so expensive for poor people. Housing in Jamaica is too expensive smh
sweetheart, is not poor people dem want over dere
Rich people who can afford it would not buy it as it's not even luxurious. This is a basic house. Better to buy land and build your dream house. Crazy the price and the kitchen isn't even furnished.
That's why I always suggest people to build their own house...people fail to understand that these houses are company made so you gotta pay for everything at full cost plus extra
@@khrisawniamcintosh2689 yea true though it is not easy finding skilled and reliable people to build on your own. This is definitely an area we need to work on in Jamaica. Too many carpenters also want to do your plumbing and electrical work 😂
@@devoniquescolley6288 you nailed it....that's why poor people have the woe is me mindset because nobody gives a damn, nobody caters to them and it's a fkn shame...they need to sell affordable houses for jamaicans living in Jamaica!
I like it but I would have preferred some form of fencing for privacy.
Even though I am not impressed by the layout of this property. I am taken aback by the comments that the house is overpriced compared to the U S. U S homes are made out of wood and siding except for South Florida which has tougher building codes. So the pretty US overpriced structures which cost way more than this are not as structurally sound. One can be on one side of a US wood home and hear a toilet flush on the other.
Also, the finishes in the home are imported which means extra cost. Comparing U S prices to JA is not a valid comparison.
I totally agreed with your comment.People must stop making these comment, when they don't know the real price of real estate in Jamaica. The level of ignorance is just astonishing, and it's one of the reasons why you see all these unfinished houses in Jamaica.
ITS OVER PRICED
Waay overpriced! Neighbors too fkn close! Not impressed with these lego match box communities.
That's what I am saying, there is no where to plant anything
@@merlinebryan7457 xactly!!, I dont wish to hear my neighbors sneeze, After investing that much money in A home..
Dwl
It's not overpriced. You just can't afford it!
😎 really?,..I actually could buy it, Cash! 😝..
This is very nice but I am noticing that the spaces are very small.
Some other things I am disagreeing with is the size of the property that is quoted in square feet; how many Jamaicans knows what she is talking about; we are so Americanised. Even the prices are quoted in US dollars. This simply means, these houses are targeting foreigners not people living in Jamaica unless you have funds in US dollars.
Yes this house is definitely geared towards foreigners. The price, the amenities how much jamaican golf actively and need yoga sun roof.
@@bribriblacks103 you're right but Jamaicans living in Jamaica could get used to that....fine living shouldn't just be for foreigners!
Too dark love natural lighting.
More expensive than America .get Real Jamaican.
@@avonnehuggins2122:Well said Jamaicans can get use to it.
You guys crack me up with your 'walk in closet' with no shelves or anything. The house is ok and definitely not worth the price.
Ikr
👁👁 Oh my word Jamaica I am absolutely stunned 😵😵... I love it it's a good look Jamaica 💜👌🙏👍🔥🔥⭐🌠
This what I am talking about in housing development in Jamaica. Lovely interior and exterior with fanstaic land scaping. This a first world setting
Tell your developers to build bathroom with glass doors. No one has time to be washing shower curtains!
Hire a helper. Use liners that you can dispose of. Glass and tracks will require cleaning of scum and build up.
u can change it just like how we upgrade abroad, plus bleach works wonder
@@pmzphillips why pay so much money then turn around doing all that
@@tastesweet9027 🤣🤣🤣🤣
True.
Great view, timely filming, adequate descriptions and soothing background music. I will certainly share this video with friends who are in the market for property.
Thank you very much 😊
Video so long and not enough lighting ..
If I was living in JA , would buy two containers and put it on a piece of land and rig the whole damn thing up for nice living ! Don’t need this type of property... Hope they can handle hurricane weather !
Glad to see the improvement with the dimensions added and more information about the house.
Hi Andrea, this is an old video and it goes to show that if we get the information from the realtor or the developer we will provide it.
I will not deny the fact that the property is undoubtedly beautiful, however, if I search, possibilities are I can find a land space of the same if not more and construct a two level structure including garage, wash room etc. for the price quoted. I honestly feel some of these properties are overpriced.
I agree with you, way overpriced
This is gated. It's alot safer to live here than stand alone properties where neighbors are sometimes are questionable plus there is no security .
@@eileenwatt8283 i live in a gated with 24hrs security and many of us have experienced robberies and neighbours don't care to know their neighbours. The amenities is the plus and they are still overpriced. These homes are like starter homes and note materials used are cheap. So you're basically invested in what's pretty not necessarily durability of certain fixtures. But to each his/her own. If you have the money to splurge go for it.
True
@@eileenwatt8283 don't get carried away by Gated community, people tend to let their guards down. Nice place but not for me, not enough closet space and small kitchen.
Lovely ..wow
I COULD GET 2 HOUSES
IN AMERICA FOR THAT PRICE
PEOPLE SHOULDN'T EVEN
LOOK AT THEM MUCHLESS TO
THINK ABOUT BUYING THEM
DAMM THIEF.
Yep, in the South you can get 2 houses for that price. These houses are not worth $US 235,000.
I live in the south, tell me where you can get 2 1900s q ft stand alone houses with those amenities for that price
Two houses that you can break the walls with your fingers
It's also about supply and demand , Jamaica is a small island and America is a huge country with plenty land and poor construction materials .. it's expensive but every house has it's owner
Ting is Jamaican house can go for generation the house in america may look nice but you can wet a piece of rag and rub out the wall
Great video. I really like how you give the size of each room.
Thank you
The presenter did a great job, as well as the decorators. Cameraman you did a Great Job too!!! I like the house layout and beauty. I would definitely buy this house if I was seeking!
Good Job !
Love the look house nice in St. Mary come in soon

PV,,, Hello, nice sized home, where does water come from, as there are storage tanks, & no gutters, Nice build& price is good, thanks for showing it 🇬🇧🇯🇲🇯🇲🇺🇸🇺🇸
Nice home. Remember when irma and asha lived at the saint queens 🏠. Up for sale. Wish the next buyer a happy purchase and living experience. 2021
That price on a 2 acre lot, much better. Well built 👍🏾♥️
Beautiful lovely poor poor people we don’t stand a chance of owning one of these.. these homes are for the rich .. nice video thanks for sharing.. god bless
Their target buyers are returning residents with money that’s why!
Use nht and bank loans or do suphm to earn more money
hope it's a safe neighborhood 🙏
The only thing i like about this house is the size.the cabinet colors don't go with neither the countertop nor the paint on the wall.
Wow it's only the model house. It's not for u to tell them how to decorate.
But the wall is a neutral colour. It does not clash with the cabinets
Look very nice
Thank you Mellonie ❤️
First the presentation....Extremely professional and well done, probably the best I have seen. Your description was concise, you did not ramble on like most of these other presenters, camera was spot on everything you said and gave the viewer time to look at each feature. Music did not overwhelm the video.
The house...The Primary bedroom is massive, which is a big plus along with the double sink in the bathroom. The kitchen (also large) and bathroom fixtures are top notch. Nice back patio and backyard-Water tank included is a big, big plus.
The issues I found were the space between the houses are a little narrow, the driveway is basic poured concrete. Having the dining room or den way in the back by the kitchen is very confusing to me; why not have it between the living room and kitchen?
Overall, well worth the price of 240,000 US for all that you get. Great presentation.
Hi, Godwin Barley, thank you for your thorough feedback; it's really appreciated 😊. We will continue to bring you great content. Stay safe and be blessed.
Please $240,000.00 For what
Nice video
Thank you Pete.
Lovely housing development!!! I wish the quote was in the Jamaican currency.
Thank you.... When converted the starting price is $34,840,506.14 JMD as at October 16, 2020
@@PropertyViewers Thank you
Are you saying the jmd price will move with the exchange rate?
@@careycampbell1323 yes it will.
Reedamdiculous. Nothing about this basic ass house is worth that price! This is highway robbery at its finest.
Me always sey me naa live a country, but this a mek me think twice. The place nice!!! 😁😁😁
Nice bad 😍
Yes id go to live there too.
This was really well presented thank you
Thank you and you're welcome.
She did an amazing job
I love how they mentioned the size of each area
Sorry guys there’s nothing to attract me to this house .poorly decorated.
Do you do low income property and like how the properties are in in Jamaica please quote the price jamaican dallas
Their target market are returning residents that's why the price is in US dollars
Beautiful yes beautiful just one let dow. For me, no powder room
I am loving what I see. Lets continue this trend in Jamaica.
Hi E L. C, welcome to our channel and thank you for your kind feedback.
Great presentation!
Outdoor space is very small. Nothing really great about this property. Maybe just the location.
Development is incomplete. This is pure Highway Robbery!
I like it, i.did not see the second bathroom, does it have a tub? I would definitely like to have a look at them when i am in Jam down next year. also what part of st Mary is this?
One thing I don't like is opening a front door into a living room. That's a no sale for me. There should be a little entrance way that leads to the rooms. Not open door and staring at people watching their TV.
Or into their kitchen
Living arae looks small and cluttered. Also thge vernadah. Nice yard. Land space would be my main reason for buying a property because i LOVE NATURE
I enjoyed this until I heard the price
In the walk in closet where is the rod to hang the clothes I do not like the mstr bdrm at the entrance from the main road
This is ridiculous! They are ripping off the people as usual! The design of the house as usual is lacking style and comfort...for example, what they call the living area is just a walk way because it is so narrow and not only that, for you to get from the from door to the Kitchen of what they call the open plan living area you have to walk pass the entertainment area, meaning, that if you are sitting watching television, every time someone enters to get to anywhere in the house they have to block your view and disturb your view of the television! Most house design have this same pathetic and inconsiderate lay out! I am sick and tired of seeing lazy, pathetic, short cutting and unintelligent house designs in Jamaica with big price tag!
Careful you don't have a heart attack
You nailed it. The house is at best basic.
They are trying to keep prices low as possible for the profit margin. Its not like they dont about space and flow etc
I am a retired Architect now living in Jamaica...been in the business for over 50 years...mentored by the greatest Architect planet Earth has produced...Oscar Niemeyer...mentored with him on the construction of the City of Brazilian, Brazil...post graduate degree in Ergonomics...which is the art of the relationship between man and his environment. Housing designs in Jamaica have become a joke!, They are design by Architects...they are designed by draughtsmen with the assistance of CAD technology...no thought at all just rooms....it really a shame...but I guess the idea is to sell houses and not to worry about who lives in them!!! I look at some of the designs and shake my head in sadness.....AWFUL!!!!
For real.
Beautiful homes and area although I am not a fan of bungalow, get me updated on 3 level homes and patio on the top level looking to buy in 2021 not too far from the beach Portland looks very attractive other areas is considered. Shalom
Jamaica is now becoming for the rich...
Right my friend, GhettoJamaica@ is not for everyone!
Absolutely true!!!
It has been that way for awhile especially in terms of housing. Decent houses in Jamaica cost millions of dollars for years now.
you got it right. Jamaica is not for Jamaicans.
@Brian Abisdid It seems I should have been specific and given the decade when houses started to cost millions of dollars in Jamaica. I know that by the mid 1990s it started to feel hopeless unless you could get a Housing Trust or Matalon house.
How does the water tank work??? You collect rain water for your faucets???
Nice house and property but it's too expensive
Price too high.
Any chance you might be reviewing monymusk country club in the future? I believe it's in Alley, Clarendon.
We will make some checks and see what can happen. Thanks.
@@PropertyViewers awesome!
Will you be viewing The Camelot townhouses in Discovery Bay?
Hi, we will do some checks and see what can be done.
i am very interesting
Hi Portia, thank you for your comment. Please check in the description box for information for the listing agent. They will be able to assist you. Be blessed
The ambiance shows potential. Typical, beautiful gated home layout and design. Excellent camera capturing. Decent voice over. Not bad...Loses points on it being so over priced. That could've easily been at least 10 million dollars less.
Hi Nardia, thank you for watching and provide us with your feedback. We do appreciate it . Be blessed!!💓
Hi can we have a video showing the rest of the amenities you noted at the end of the video
What about low income housing we are suffering paying housing trust for years and still can't get a house
Coleen, government have to build those houses for Jamaicans trying to buy with NHT money....NHT funding can’t finance houses like these. It’s mainly the diaspora these are geared towards.
Better than Richmond, beautiful, is there many shops around Edgehill.
Hi Elli Hall, welcome to our channel. The Gates of Edgehill is beautiful indeed. Not to my knowledge. However, shopping plazas are about 15 minutes away.
THE HOUSES ARE SO CLOSE
TO EACH OTHER ,THE LIVING
AREA IS NO DIFFERENT
FROM A WALK WAY
Great video. Nice property but overpriced.
True.
What are the prices ? And where in St.Mary is this?
Hi Tamika Garrick the cost is mentioned @16:04. This is Mango Valley, St. Mary.
Your neighbour can just walk into your house! No security in terms of a main gate that can be opened and locked. Can I build a wall around my property?
Why would that be necessary in a Gated community? People who live in Gated communities don’t go into peoples property with being invited.
@@ingababy5196 Gated Community means I should be able to SECURE MY PERSONAL GATES😂😃😄
“Walk in closet” 🤣
Yzt😂😂
Y is the price in US dollars i thought this was in St mary Jamaica??
This is jamaica, how come there is American Apples on the counter
I like the houses. I don't mind the layout though the living space could be much bigger. I don't like the fact a dining table cannot fit in the open concept space. It looks tight. If you going to pay so much for a home, you should be able to do reasonable additions to it. The master bathroom should have a bath tub and a shower. That's just my opinion. I don't like the bathroom tiles so much and for the price of this home, the bathroom tiles should be floor to ceiling. Whoever did the landscaping did a good job though.
We value your opinion Claudia, thanks for sharing.
I'm really paranoid about my safety. I would install an automatic garage door enclosing the carport. That'll be the only way a woman would feel safe with a door which one access one's bedroom from the street or just seal the door. Granted this is a gated community Secondly access to the washer and dryer should in the house I think.
I think so too, or it should be to the back of the house 🏘️.
Nice presentation, needs more land space to plant my own veggies. How about showing us the Clubhouse, Tennis courts, overall entertainment centre, kids like to play, show us what we will be getting for the maintenance fees monthly. Thanks
By the way where is the hotwater heater or solar panel, I dont like cold showers. Thanks, show swimming pools plz
These properties are not for even the middle class in Jamaica they never mention the price in Jamaican dollars always USA D kmt as if Jamaicans are being paid I n U S the only time the quote USD is when they mention the minimum wage the minimum wage is about $7000;00 Jamaican dollars see how it sound like a lot , check out how much that is in U.S it’s about $50.00 it’s a damm shame
Houses look good but the windows could be way better, and as mentioned by someone, glass door bathroom, shower curtains is soo longtime ago
34 million and odd Jamaican dollars this is not for regular or low income owners. Seriously😏. beautiful house but this is out of thousands reach. I guess your paying for the amenities not the house. Do better🙄Please quote prices in Ja$ we live in Jamaica why do we insist on quoting in US, here.
So what i understand is that the jamaican market is trying to compete with the American market.
Because they are trying to attract overseas Jamaicans to buy in these developments especially those that Iive in the U.S.
It's for returning residents.
This appeals to Jamaicans returning home to Retire w/ U.S. Pension 💰💰💰 -who often will pay cash for their Retirement Homes 💯🥂🍾
I hope they consider fludding

How much they cost?
Where in st Mary is this located?
@Mishy Boo1 its located on Mango Valley Road, Huddersfield Ave, just minutes from Ocho Rios and Boscobel.
What area in St..Mary is this housing scheme?
Hey Leroy, the housing scheme is located on Mango Valley Road, St. Mary
Talk to me about the basement addition.. this video limited
Were the furnitures imported? must say this house is very ice,
Hi Monica the house was staged by the developer. Not all the items were imported. It is indeed a lovely property.
Monica, Ashley Furniture, a US based furniture store has branches in Jamaica now.
I'm not understanding why builders consistently use a dark coloured grout with light coloured tiles. I notice it as well, with the porcelain tiles. It's just not attractive. Looks unclean. I really expect better from Jamaica. This is probably the 10th video I've seen where the interior designer places a bed with the bed head blocking the window...another distraction.
Where in St.Mary
I think they better start thinking about these ridiculous prices, targeting Diasporas is not a good idea right now. With the violence so bad in Jamaica. we are all looking on west Africa to retire where the atmosphere is just as Jamaica in Ghana and other areas. much safer and cheaper to live. I think you all should look into that and find a way to encourage us to take that chance coming back home to retire. It's not encouraging right now with those prices and the violence. The West Indian Communities are Growing in West Africa and after this pandemic cools down Diasporas retiring will be on the move.
That's right west Africa is safer and less expensive to live
Nice working class house, but the price reflects otherwise.
Are these still available?
Hi Alicia, yes they are. You may contact the listing agents. Their contact information can be found in the video and in the description box. All the best with your house hunting.

🤔😧🙂
So these houses do not build for Jamaican living here .What about our price not only us Beautiful homes.
I can't believe these little houses are so expensive. I can buy a bigger house in the UK for half of that.
I did not see a bath tub or a jacuzzi in the masters bathroom
Why do these homes look like live-able hotel rooms?
What's the cost
Hi Kxng JD, welcome to our channel. The cost for this property is $239,995 USD.
To be completely honest you could get better for your buck in town just to show how expensive it is. Nice house but it’s way overpriced.
WHATS THE PRICE
How much is for those house
The price is quoted in US dollars at the end.
Nice house, BUT...
The Floorplan Sucks!
There's no Transition into the Living Room 😱 Which makes it look like you're walking into a Motel Room. Make the Main Entrance the Master Bedroom Breezeway Door & close off the front door and add a another Window! Or better yet make One Large Picture Window bump-out! Next, bring in some Mexicans to do your Tile Work... they are Tile Masters!!! Big up, JA! 🇯🇲
Nice community but I don’t like the layout of this house. The living room should not be right there when you open the front door and the parking garage leads right to the bedroom.
Nice but for the money, the floor plan is not big enough. And the homes are too close to each other.
They look really nice but not fitting the jamaica economic reality. Too expensive.. developer should have stuck to original plan to have some 2 bedrooms. They would have sold faster
No space for my dinning table, that's stupid, for that amount of money.
House is narrow and small. Don't know why the developer separated the living and dining. Not impressed with the layout it should of been an open concept living and dining combined. The kitchen cabinet look so small compared to the high of the ceiling. Crown moldings/40" would of solved that problem and probably would of cost peanuts. No privacy.
Richmond Estate is a perfect layout.
